Throughout the tourney, i was playing super aggressive. I didn't want to change style, so i continued with the 4xBB rule. Villain is calling everything, and my image just before this hand was loose aggro. I had AA prior to this hand to, and had 2 all ins within the last 3 or 4 hands.

On the turn i knew he had 2 pair, call it a read if you want. But i didn't want to believe it. I know I should have folded, but wanted to post this hand because it really annoyed me!

Thanks Belayd, I'm sure one of us will take that tournament down within the next month or so...maybe that's to ambitious but i really feel with perseverance and dedication to the Daily Dollar cause we can do it. Why would you check the river? I mean, checking the turn is one thing. I wouldn't do it, but that's me. But there can be no conceivable advantage from checking the river. If you bet, your opponent either folds, and you win exactly the amount you win by checking, or he calls/re-raises and you win more chips. Those are the only possible outcomes with a royal flush, so checking is never, ever, ever correct.

Second blog what I have read from the first post to end. Maybe I´am going to start playing some MTT´s if you will create a team Have similar goals, but playing STT only.

And first royal flush should be checked for showdown of course, it is once in a life

About the checking back DA NUTS on the turn and river.

I checked the turn to see the king drop out on the river, it did!

The guy was protecting his blind, it was obvious. He was checking back to me at lightening speed. Never seen it bounce back to me so quickly.

I'm showing off no matter what, sure I can bet, but he'll fold. No doubt about it in my mind now, or at the time.

Open raising like a mad man from UTG+2, then calling. Knowing full well he's beat but hitting his outs straight up on the flop. Added to the fact people are shoving with crap after us to, but ho hum. This is Daily Dollar life. I've seen people do worse at the WSOP (on tv).

My mind set dramatically improved yesterday though, and I cashed in both Daily Dollar tournaments, only made a small profit though of about $2 because i multi entry the freeze out.

Goals have changed slightly for the next month. I've joined a team with fellow Englishman Simonr852 and his friend. We're all beginners but have the same goals, to ace strategy in whatever that might be and to frequent live poker casino's.

So over the next month I'm gonna be head to toe in 60 poker books from Brunson to Helmuth, Harrington to Greenstein and I'm even going to sample some (what is to me) advanced mathematics. Plus all the psychology books, but feel like I'm pretty good with psychology in the first place. It's my thing.

I believe it can be done. Might have to delve into cash games within the month, but not until I've read those books. Feel like I've got a pretty solid hold of the game now.

I look at Andrew Feldman and think, he's a nice guy and a decent player. But I think I could beat him. I've out lasted him in almost all the Daily Dollar tournaments over the past week (he's playing them for a warm up for the WSOP methinks, or marketing).

Then I look at Sam Trickett, Jake Codi and gain inspiration. Particularly from Codi and his friend (forgot his name) who're both from Rochdale and down to Earth guys.

Sam Trickett is just, hard!

I think he plays with fear. I like him though, he's a nice guy. Had a chat with him during one of the daily dollar tourneys.

His experience might do me over initially, but with time (maybe I'm arrogant :P) I could take him.
