yeah could maybe make a video too?

would love that :f_biggrin:

Would like that too!

I'll participate here to with a hand that keeps me with doubt.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.04(BB) Replayer
($5.04)
Hero ($5.62)

Dealt to Hero 6♣ K♣

Hero raises to $0.12, calls $0.08

FLOP ($0.24) 6♦ K♠ 5♠

checks, Hero bets $0.16, raises to $0.40, Hero raises to $0.88, calls $0.48

TURN ($2) 6♦ K♠ 5♠ A♦

checks, Hero bets $1.32, calls $1.32

RIVER ($4.64) 6♦ K♠ 5♠ A♦ Q♠

bets $2.72 (AI), Hero folds

wins $4.34

I think I've made the right decision but I'd like to read some other opinions about this hand.

I'd like to see me putting them all in at the flop, and when I min 4bet him, I think that he would put them AI right there but he didn't do that.

The turn was ok, didn't scared me a bit but that river was so bad...

The fact that he suddenly donks after letting you bet all the way down suggest he's hit a flush, yes.
The bet's only slightly over half pot though, and the raise/call on the flop followed by only a call on the turn, means he could get semi-worried by the ace and decided to just try and represent the flush while only holding a decent king.

@fruktpuff and pleno1, he is givinng me odds 1/3 to make the call right? I just need to be winning 33% of the times, for that I guess I should have done the call..

But, there is one other line, he caught him 3 time c/r the turn with air and 1GS so if he had the FD he'd probably DB the turn, if he's taking the same line to FD that he's taking to GS.

So I guess as fruktpuff says that we had a strong king and It could be a KQo but there are few combinations of KQ in is range so I guess I should have called him...

Do you agree with the line that I made now?

i think his range is flushes and missed straight draws with the occasional random rivered 2 pair.

Hi I dont know much about HU,but this is an odd matter ;). Someone corrects me if i am wrong if he bets pot you get 2:1 pot odds. and you need 33% equity to call. So on the river you need to pay $2.72 to win $7.36 or 2.7:1 and you need 27% equity (you always need to a bit more to adjust the rake)

Best regards

Thazar

Just a question about HUs.

Is it normal for villian to pretty much insta call/raise/fold/shove?

Just one or two or the people I played earlier, 1 especially who was playing 4 HUs insta'd everything, and it was just kind of weird to play against.

And again just now, villian insta pretty much every single move without any time.

Not accusing or anything, just wondering how often you get players like this?

Yeh because people only play one table they do things quick. Also they usually have ace high and have their foot on the "call" button They don't like folding too much and if they ahve absolutely nothing they will just snap fold.

i play like that and usually regulars do that
u see a situation 1000 times so when it appears again you instantly know what to do
u rarely see a hand that requires some deep thought so you pretty much insta everything :f_cool:

 hi,very cool topics :))

*have one question. Are there some "donk bet" strategy for betting out of pos?I hear something about that but can't find anything.Do you donk bet OOP decent amount of time or only here and there? :)

Hi,
Do you have some stoploss point? And what you think about it?
If I am playing good game and not tilting but keep loosing because I run bad should I stop or keep playing?

Had nice upswing won 30 husng of 35 but downswing is coming, today down 4 bi, running bad :f_confused:

And question about strategy. Today played some guys who only fold or 3-bet my button raises. 3-bet about 15-20 % all rest fold and they dont raise my limps. So what should I do? Raise all time or limp and play postflop? But in post flop play OOP they are folding almost everything except nuts. So i limp, bet flop, they fold or call TP +

Hey.

1)Which hands you would never fold preflop against an unknown opponent in hu sng?

2)What speed of hu sng you prefer the most (nbi, regular, turbo, super turbo)? Why?

I DB more in limped pots oop with a high board like AKX. Why? Cause HU its all about your opponent range in different spots, so when he limps, i'll probably playing with his worst range and the DB in that kind of board will be profitable.

It depends because not everyone plays the same way but that's an example about DB OOP.

Taking shots is fine with less than 10bi depending on your mindset, selling pieces to friends is good too. 50-75bi is a nice aggresive BRM, as long as youre prepared to move down.

so it is very aggro-wrong bnkrm to play nl50 with 1000$?

IMO, yes.

With $1K you could play NL20 with a nice BRM.

I'm using 50BI and taking shots with 20BI with a stop loss of 5BI but I only take a shot if I'm feeling that I have a mindset ready to move down easily...

hey pleno, how much experience you have with 3min blind level headsup SNGs?

What do you think is the ceiling ROI for the Stars 3min blind level structure?
