Last night I had a discussion with a friend about rigged poker sites.
My point is that there is a lot of money going around in online poker. My discussion point is; organized crime is always looking for this type of money making. (Las Vegas???). Considering my Full Tilt Poker and other site experience. How many Bad Beats on the river, after going All Inn with very very good cards, can you take. I mean Full Houses, AAA, Straights and even four of a kind. 7 out of 10 games is a Bad Beat. And most of the times on the river where changes are 95% against 5%.

Is there anyone who can prove me wrong!! Organized crime MOST have taken a hold in Online Poker. There is simply to much money involved.

I was at All Inn last summer, nobody beat me there. Really nice people actually, also quite cheap. They even have jacuzzi.

7 out of 10 games is a Bad Beat..

thats a pretty bold statement.

if you can support that statement with data and stats,which you will post here,and you play 50k hands with 7/10 bad beats,95% vs 5%,5% wins...SURE!!!

if it was you sucking out 95 percent of this time would you be making this thread? it is part of poker live with it .... just look at the live games there just the same some of them

I have many games from FTP (especially the last 40 games of Rush poker) to support this statement. But the one that opened my eyes was on PartyPoker.

5 - 10 cash game
I get pocket Aces ..... Bet 70
5 persons fold. nr 6 raises 50
I call
Flop = Q, 7, 10 all different so no flush draw possible
I rais 200 to get the pot
Re-rais = 200
I call
Turn = 4
I go all in (340 rais)
The other person calls
River = 2
I got beaten by two pair 4, 2 .......

I rest my case. This is not some stupid F... with a lot of luck. This is someone who knows what's next!!!

That's when I stopped playing for RM in online poker. I like the game very much but has lost my trust in online poker. Anyone who can proof that I am wrong pls feel free to do so!!

lol !!!

. You do not have to believe it only for me there is nothing to gain by making this up. No pics because i was so frustrated I deleted Party Poker and everything with it. I remember this game from head. Didn't play online poker for a long while since.

That still doesn't undermine my statement.
Anyone that can proof me wrong? Anyone? So I can start playing online poker again.

the idea of playing online poker is a very nice one considering the mount of money you can make if you put in the time and effort. i know when i started out (also on partypoker) i deposited and ended up donking it away cos i was very inexperienced. i cancelled my account, was very annoyed and i was convinced it was rigged because of the amount of suckouts and bad beats. gave it half a year and loaded up to ftp and started playing and exactly the same thing happened. i didn't want to believe it was rigged cos i really enjoyed playing poker. this happened time and time again until a month or so ago when i said i have the whole summer ahead of me to learn as much about poker as possible, so i came back to this website and thought i will reshape my game because everyone else seems to make money with it but me. i started reading the articles and followed them properly and low and behold my bankroll started going up. i'm still improving so its going slow but consistently up. my point is that it's much easier to blame the tools than the worker and so the obvious conclusion is that online poker is rigged. i have no idea about how much you read with regards to strategy (although your preflop raise with the AA example shows you didn't follow the recommended 3x/4x BB) and i know that in-game information should serve to shape and fine tune the strategy, but i think you should just look at your game. again, it's easy to blame the site because if it were rigged then it means you may well be a good player; everyone's just out to get you. i guarantee if you dedicate yourself to improving then you will not only win more but when the bad beats happen you will just shrug it off because what's done is done - you have the bankroll to sustain it.

i have no idea if online poker is rigged or not and i don't care if it is. it sounds illogical but the point is there are countless people who have put in a lot of time and effort and are reaping the rewards by winning online. you think they run around complaining it's rigged?

what Gunn56 said summs it up. i don't mean to patronise you - im by no means a great player but i stepped back and questioned myself for a change and i found a good enough answer. try it and dont lie to yourself cos you'll go broke.

Prolly rigged but.....but ahh what can you do.....i see AA get cracked all the time...... If FTP is rigged than don't play there .... if party pKR is rigged than don't play there..if u think its all rigged than just play live.... or don't play at all..... bad beats happen all the time... to everyone.... (but the chip leader lol)
anyways take care and good luck

This would be more legitament if there weren't solid winners out there playing on the big sites. It's mathmatically proven, and simply from an empircal standpoint, that EV does catch up to our green line at various points. On graphs I've seen that have 1m+ hands, there have been stretches of the OP being under EV for like, 200k hands, but then it inevitabally comes round again.

90% of these threads are started by an OP who just got sucked out on for 100BB pots and ragequits the poker cilent and looks for consolidation on the forums - it would be much easier to take your BB if you knew that it was 'unfairly' given, rather just 'expected'.

also, if 9/10 games are bad beats, then who's winning all the money? There has to be winners to be losers. Are you saying that only a select few are specifically targeted to forever be the victims of this supposed 'organised crime' (re: varience)?

If you can't take the heat, stay out the kitchen _cool:
