now, after this thread, i'm afraid pokerstars will go broke , unless they give up rake :)) =))

Stop playing poker until the poker rooms take less rake.
Then I am sure poker rooms will lower the rake.

Party poker has no rake on mtts now to attract players who were hurt by what happened with FTP. I am sure they will have rake on mtts again in the future. Also, rooms only operate to generate rake, they could lower the rake and stil make profit for sure, but they have no reason to really.

Why do u want to get rid of rake it pays for bonuses and free rolls and all the benefits we have on Pokerstrategy with out it we would be a lot poorer as we would not get the free $50 and no rake back or bonuses, and the poker site would have to find other ways to make money to pay their staff and for equipment.

So what would be come of on line poker with out rake?

Maybe we should go a step further. I think if we gather enough people, we can start putting pressure on the poker companies to ban rake altogether so we can finally play without the poker room stealing a part of our profits. Yeah, let's all do that.
