[Closed] c/r flop or c/r turn, or just c/c down and fold unimproved.

First of all there is this balancing thing of your flop c/r range.

I think you agree on the fact that c/r any pair on this flop is correct.
Then you should have semibluffs in your c/r range for this board.

Second of all with with ~10 outs you have 40% equity on the flop as you said. With so much equity you need only 4% Fold equity(which is really low). On the turn your equity drops to around ~21% and you will need 12% fold equity, given the fact that you c/r the flop.

If we accept that he almost never folds the flop, but we should c/r for balancing reasons, then we are in the situation on the turn where we need 12% Fold equity.
His range is: 55+,A7s+,KTs+,QJs,A8o+ - 176 combos

He can fold KTs,KJs,KQs,QJs,AT - 21 combos (I'm actually counting only the non fd suited hands)

21/176= 15.3% hands that he will fold

against somebody who always bets any turn its obviously not correct to checkraise anypair on the flop but its better - as the biggest part of his range are Ax Kx combinations - to wait for the turn, assumed that he's gonna call down with almost the same frequency as he does on c/r flop. but on that board it's likely to get called down by showdownvalueable hands. sometimes i do play c/c c/r with pairs. and T9 has no showdownvalue at all. if you think he could fold some hands and if you have pairs in your range as well its ok the way you played it and given sigaulis analysis is correct, you should have a good spot to semibluff.

But balancing on these limits is not as important as adjusting on your opponents gameplan. i mean... if he's never gonna fold Ax you should rather just play passively.
