I'm thinking on moving on to UK as the spanish regulation is coming soon. And I'd like to know:
1- How much do I have o wait before beeing able to pay taxes on UK?
2- Is it true that gambling is Tax-free?
3- How much would cost a month of living in London? Any other place you'd recommend?
4- How does the ressidence permission issue work?
5- Anything else I should know?
Though i don't live in London i have been there many times..
1.That will depend on your job and how much you will be earning.
2.Bookmakers are very competitive and while there is a tax rate on bets they normally cover it themselves.If you make a bet say at evens with £10 you get back £20 so it doesn't effect you.
3.Once again depends where you live.London caters for every level.The more you go from the city centre the cheaper it gets.While parts can be very expensive if you shop around you can get good deals.Overall it is an expensive city.
4.I take it you are Spanish so you are part of the European Union so you are entitled to stay there as long as you want due to the freel travel of EU residents in any EU state.This includes work etc.You will have no problems at all.
5.London is a great city.You cant get bored.Loads to do,shopping,museums are mostly free,great nightlife,loads of casinos,sports events including the Olympics next year and 4 teams in the Premiership football league.The weather isnt great but that is to be expected in England.
Maybe you should visit there first for a week or two to get a feel for the place b4 making a big desicion.Hope that helps in some way.

London is very expensive compared to everywhere else. Wages are generally higher there but you will still end up with less disposable income. Would imagine you'd struggle on anything less than 25k a year, would depend on your lifestyle I guess.
I have just finished living in Bristol for four years while I was doing my degree, it's a good city with lots going on and cost of living isn't too bad. Good nightlife too.
Have now moved back up North to home and am going to move to Leeds. People tend to be a lot friendlier up North and the cities are always good nights out, cost of living will be cheaper compared to London as well. Manchester is also a good place to be with lots going on, as is Liverpool which is much better than it is stereotyped to be.
I am probably slightly biased but not a big fan of London, I have a lot of friends that have moved there after Uni that I've visited several times and would only move there if i had an amazing job offer etc. Apart from that its just so overcrowded, especially with transport and people seem to be generally unsociable.
And yeah, as keoghh said, weather is going to suck compared to Spain, lol.

Depends how much your willling to pay!! the less you pay the worse the standard of living!!!!
If you want to live in a quaint little village in the cotswolds this could be expensive too!!!

central london (and here the centre i describe is quite broad) £600 minimum imo.
did you consider Gibraltar as an option?
@yoghi -- why do you think it makes a difference to your 'enjoyment level' if you're from the UK or otherwise? interesting hypothesis 
I didn't really mean it that way. It's just that because London is really international compared to most other UK cities that it will make it easier to meet new people and make it easier to live in another country.
