River he has 3 Q and 3 K, how can he fold?
just kidding...
You're mean TT; You could have told him that he only should use 2 of his hole cards!

preflop: eq wise KKKQ ss is slightly ahead of my 90% open raise. but the game is not over after my preflop raise. the hand doesnt play well enough post to justify a call vs a good plr. ip i would open raise his hand hu, but oop i alw fold and i think its the correct play.
flop: ofc, once called he cant just fold.
turn: already ugly cuz there is no river he can make the nuts. so he will face very tough river spots on every single card. my frequency will be good ip.
river: i bet pretty big. bit polarized. but given the previous showdowns, it was obv he calls super light. hence, i would never bluff and vbet thinly at the same time. he would c/r 2pair F or T, so i can easily bet KJ** + for value. esp AJ** is nuts and ofc my bottom full is also nuts.

hey! sorry to revive the old (ish) discussion, but do you have any advice on what currency to use for poker? I'm about to deposit on party, and they don't offer CHF, but there's a choice between: USD; EUR; GBP; CAD; JPY. Is any of them more or less stable?
Right now I have iPoker in euros and moneybookers in CHF, fwiw (with all my money on ipoker.. yay.)

i think most important is that u have same currencies between your shipping sites. so u need to have at least NT or MB in USD. the other currency probably best in EUR. cuz u rly wanna make sure u dont lose when shipping site A > MB/NT > site B
if your MB is in CHF, ofc the ship to your MB account should always be the last one. transferring between sites should then only happen via NT. in that case NT can be in EUR or USD, depending on the base currency of most of your poker accounts. if most are EUR, NT in EUR is best. if u mostly play on sites with USD accounts, NT should be in USD.
i personally think that having some sites in EUR and some in USD is best, along with two MB accounts as VIP, one EUR, one in USD.
MB > NT for me personally.
best adaption vs good, creative aggro guys
cbet less and take weak approach or move it move it more and take active more aggro approach?! hm, obv => move it move it

why cbet? why not b/f F? why not fold T? why bluff R, dont we have sd value?

I'm super tired, but current thinking is that you're bluffing the river to let him herofold a 9. He can't really have a flush because you have Ac and other flushes don't make lots of sense because there aren't any of those that he c/r flop lead turn with. Even those that he can, he can't be delighted because his relative hand strenght on the river can't be high.
Basically it comes down to the fact that you're expecting him to c/r flop with lots of draws and some air, but then his flop raise doesn't rep so much value at all because 1. it's hard to flop a FH or quads, bro, and 2. why would he c/r them with his aggro img? He can also just lead and expect to get floated a lot (if he perceives you as a thinking player) and then he take a decision on turn (hope to get double floated/you improve to some SDV and lead, e.g.).
This line is also easier for him to balance too, so there's no real reason why he'd balance his bluffs like this...so on the flop his range is like draws and maybe also like TT -- KK (showdown value bluffs?) and some air as well.
Once you call, he can barrel and make you fold some floats and draws that didn't improve. On the club turn you can have a FD now, but not so likely and really the 3 is a huge brick to your range imo.
So why bluff the river?
Well, can't explain more...too tired and brain not functioning, but like your bet/call, call, shove line is almost never a bluff imo.
hi sir just a quick question not really related to poker but this seems like the only place where i can contact you ♦
what forex trading platform are you using? do you know of any good ones that are userfriendly for beginners?

the hand is easier to analyse from his point of view:
for me, to call the c/r on the flop, call a turn bet and shove a river when even a flush (and a straight) hits after his checks, means i cannot have air at all. there is just no air combo in my whole range that floats 2 streets.
i easily can have 9Jxx, 88xx, QcTcJh7h[Kh]
on this particular river i wouldnt jam 9xxx, so he can easily muck A9xx or K9xx that c/r F and b T for pure value
also his bluffs like JTQK with clubs, have to fold the river cuz i cannot jam worse. i would only jam nutfd at worst and he knows it. mostly i have a full.
he can only call if he thinks im capable of turning a made hand into a bluff. but since even the bd fd hits, i cannot have air cuz my straigh draw combos wouldnt call the turn if not having a flush to go with it (not to mention that these combos are rare anyway since i fold those on F often since its a paird board.)
only hands that might make sense is KKJT that doesnt believe of AA**. but even those hands mustnt have clubs cuz then his 9x w/o a full would still be beat. so for him to call he has to assume i can bluff shove KK** or AA** on R. nobody gives u credit for that in today's plo midstakes games.
the hand gets tougher from my point of view:
we know each other. and i know he c/r a whole lot and also continues his aggression on many turns. so the deicision to cbet or not to cbet is already pretty tough as i dont expect to get folds all that often.
checking back and playing T and R ip is probably a valid option. im not sure overall if its good for my gameplan vs him tho.
anyway, i decide to cbet and as kinda expected he c/r. i put him on 88**, 9x, JTQ* with one bd fd, KQJ* bd fd, QQ** and KK** as range merge and maybe even a hand like TT77 one bd fd .....
overall a fairly wide range and my AA** are good often enough + i have pos.
turn blanks but brings a fd, so i think he will continue his aggression with most of his range, esp when he has a fd to go with his wrap/oesd/gs/pair
river is the worst card for me cuz at that point its rly unlikely my blank AA (nut 2pair) is the best hand. many str8 and flush combos out of his semi-bluff range now got there. the only hands i beat are blank KK or QQ without the club bd draw. i think im beat 9 out of 10 here.
so unfortunately my plan was to fold vs any betsize. however, he checks and i immediately think he would shove his air and his fulls. so i was pretty sure he had one of those sd/fd combos that got there and knew that i can easily have the nuts (obv would play it the same) and he cannot shove for value cuz i fold everything but a full. but at the same time he probably thinks he beats A9, AA, KK and those hands would check back the river anyway cuz they have "showdown value".
but since i think A9, KK, AA dont have sd value (trips or 2pair are not good on this board texture more than 10% imo vs his range), i decide to shove and i rly expect to see a timebank/fold by him 19 out of 20 times. so a massive +ev spot. pos > all

i cannot answer that question im afraid. cuz "it depends" - on soooooo many factors.
i tested a lot, known ones, unknown ones, small ones ....
support with small ones (esp austrian) is very good. market leader imo is fxcm, ofc u can test their software and see if u like it. if u wanna use MT4, there are also a ton of brokers out there. i personally like MT4, but most of my friends hate MT4. its like a philosophical question what to use. depends a lot what u use it for. personal micro lot use, or professional trader, or company account etc etc etc
but there are many sites out there wher u can compare brokers. also many forums where u can ask experienced forex traders

ty sir, btw hows the spread on MT4 and fxcm? are they industry standards or a bit high? im trying etoro now since it looks userfriendly but might probably switch, i think the spread here is a bit high
FXCM uses its own software (trading station II)
MT4 is used by manyyyyy other brokers.
mt4 is only the software. spreads depend on the broker.
varies between 2 and 5 pips mostly. but even then, there are big differences in spreads in each currency pair. so u def have to compare all of them and pick the one u think is best for your own use. (e.g. if u only trade EUR/GBP u wanna work with broker A for 3pips rather than broker B for 5 pips spread obv)
also what margin / leverage u wanna get? all brokers offer different options.

don't really have an idea since i just started 2days ago but i definitely have a separate bankroll for forex, business is running good and i can't wait for my rungood in poker to diversify. i can definitely diversify anytime i want to, but im still taking my time to learn forex (still starting with playmoney, just to get used to the terms, trades, spreads, etc..) i don't have a clue on forex so i can't answer the margin / leverage question now,but im definitely willing to learn and put in the time (just like poker). just wanted to ask your opinion/advice on forex. would it be ok if i add you on skype or any platform in case i had questions in the future?
Mind if I add you as well? ♦ I'm hoping to start studying a bit of forex in the near future.
