Well i wouldn't mind avoiding the Canadian winter and trying something new and my american friends need to move I was wondering whats a nice low cost country to try for a couple of months for a bunch of online pros like thailand, ecuador, coasta rica etc

I spent a couple months in Thailand last summer. It was absolutely amazing, I would definitely recommend it.
Word of advice: If they wear skirts, they're probably ladyboys.

also, are you wanting it for just general living, or going out, weather, sights? cos I went round eastern Europe for a few weeks and loved every minute of it, and it's cheap as chips too really

Parts of South America are very cheap. Not the Europeanised Argentina and Chile so much, but like maybe Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador. I spent a couple of months in Bolivia this year - it was dirt cheap.
I had a few connection issues in the evenings, especially Friday, although it is possible to buy faster broadband. I don't know how easy that would be if you were just staying for a short time.
If you're tired of cold Canadian winters I suggest you move to Estonia. Our winters are much warmer, usually around -10 - +2 C. Don't forget the wellies!
republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland , but I don't know what you consider cheap. my average lunch when I eat out is like $11 US, or $6.57ish if I buy it before hand. dunno if thats a decent measurement. but yeah the country is nice

I've also spent a couple of months there. May and most of june. Were mostly in the capital. Really cheap country and it's not bad if you stay in the lower areas of the city. Just gotta get used to the altitude. Latin girls are also very "friendly" if you have a Northern European look ♦
They had a casino there as well. Didn't play my best though since they bringing me beer. Not that it mattered too much, the blinds were only 0.25/0.50 and competition was drinking as well.
I didn't play live - I believe new tax laws were coming in for live poker but I doubt they would be prohibitive.
To correlate with the post above about Ireland, in Bolivia I could get a 4 course meal - including a jug of juice - for under $3. Much cheaper would be possible but I played safe.

I guy a knew from Korea moved to the Philippines and said people are really nice and friendly to foreigners which is good. I've lived in Korea for 4 years I can say Koreans don't really like us. They put up with us but still feel like an outsider most of the time.
Plus cost of living is very cheap. Poker is legal as well. I'm moving there after I'm done in Korea
