Im not sure when i made my account i used the marketing code given by pokerstrategy, i want to make my first deposit into stars today. So is there a way to know if i used the marketing code on stars?

We can only recognise a tracked account once that account has begun to receive StrategyPoints.
Since you've never received StrategyPoints on PokerStars, we can't be sure whether you're tracked or not. In such cases, we'd advise you to contact Poker Room Customer Support and ask them to confirm whether or not your account is affiliated to PokerStrategy.com.

Thank you ingrid, i just sent them the email, but ffs this gets worse. I hate my country, things were fine when i made my deposit to fulltilt, now they have added new rules apparently :\

His profile says he is from Sri Lanka. I was in your shoes not so long ago, I had my stars account for quite sometime, and when i made deposit i think I tried to deposit with marketing code ( used as bonus code ). I don't remember if it was accepted or not, but somehow i got tracked , YAY !
