INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone! My name is Pedro, 21 years old, and I am just starting a new blog here in the english community. I live in São Paulo Brazil and just decided to start this new blog here to improve my english and also to help me reaching my goals.

Anyway, my story is like everyone's story, I received the $50 and blown it, made myself a $30 deposit and now here I am, reached about $1.200 bankroll, had a downswing playing sng and I am just back to $700.

I played everything from SSS/BSS to SNG, except the FL variant. Well, recently I discovered that I probably can build a decent bankroll just insane multitabling at Pokerstars and playing NL5. I used to play alot of nl10/nl25 6-8 tables so I guess I have at least a decent knowledge of the game to beat NL5 easily.

I had a 100k hands at nl5 goal but failed it before completing so I am starting this goal once again and see if maybe I can do more then 100k hands!.

Here is the graph of the last goal I just mentioned, running at 12bb/100 which is insane in my opinion (24 tabling).

Wish me good luck!! I will be updating this blog daily!
my objective at the moment is just make "a ton of money" playing NL5, build a very confortable bankroll ($2500 should be good i guess) and maybe in the future I will be playing NL25-NL100 6-8 tables again.. =)

Hope you enjoy!

If anyone is interested I pretend to also record a session of mine!

Interesting. Are you playing shorthanded?

what hand range you playing? I'm guessing your going for a tight range to reduce the number of tricky situations?

Wow that's really tight, but better to be tight where the donks don't care about your holdings :)

Totally agree

Hey, Pedro!

Why don't you just 4/6 tabling at NL20 and improve your postflop skills rather than just sick grinding at NL5.
And 12/10 looks hella tight to me.

Best wishes, Plamen.

I dont pretend to stay too many time at NL5 just want to make a solid bankroll before moving up. But I will probably do what you said when I feel confortable with my bankroll again. I just feel like I should double my bankroll before playing nl20-nl25 again (I wanna do it again when I have around $1300) I know thats a nit bankroll management but as I had around that before my sng downswing I want to recover all the money that I lost =). I am pretty sure tho that I can beat nl20 playing 4-6 tables!

The other point is about reaching goals. I usually set a lot of goals for life/poker and usually I dont finish them. I know some things cant be compared to "real life" goals but anyway..

not saying poker is not real life but just talking about "off internet games/poker goals"

ty Plamen!!

Just looked up some guys on PTR and found a guy with a 19bb/100 winrate in 150k hands, that really insane! I would play nl5 so many time if I had such winrate. But as I only played around 70k hands I will probably play alot more and see what will be my winrate after that, 70k hands is a pretty low sample size when you 24 table I think.. there is a pretty high variance on my game so I wouldnt be surprised If I reach a winrate better then my 12bb/100 that I have at the moment!

Played 50 minutes 24 tabling! .. and thats it =)

Sounds pretty cool to play 1500h/h. I just play around 400.

Anyway, keep grinding and powning the fishes.

Thanks for the support
answering your question regarding the move up.. well I just feel that I can win more money by playing 24 table nl5 then doing the same on nl10.. its way easier.. not 100% sure but I feel really confortable playing nl5 .. just going to build my bankroll again and then moveup to nl25 =)
