Hello,
My name is Rawad 32 years old from Lebanon.
I played online real money Texas Holdem Poker for the 1st time in my life like 8 years ago without having any idea about how to play the game, it was just about gambling.
Then i learned texas on Facebook like lot a Poker players, but i didn't like it because we are playing for free.
So i decided to play real again i opened an account with Everest Poker and i started to play SSS and SNG. after 7 months of playing finally i won for the 1st time 200$ i cashed out 100$ i received the check but i never could put in my account because of the country banking regulations (I was leaving in Colombia)
I stopped depositing and started playing live poker in casino, it was nice i was wining and i won the most of tournaments that i played for more than 3 months every week.
2 years ago i registered for Poker strategy i passed the quiz but i didn't use the 50$ seriously i lost all in 1 day.

Question 1: What is your motivation for playing poker?
Gambling and winning money while i'm playing my best game

Question 2: What are your weaknesses when playing poker?
in reality have many but my problem is that when i'm loosing i tilt and i want money back quickly so i finish loosing more money

Question 3: What does it mean to play tight-aggressive?
playing tight is waiting and choosing the best hands so playing less hands with higher percentage of preflop cards and Aggressive is good to protect your hand don't give your opponents any chance to make an easy call and don't let him buy cards

Hello RawadN,

I don't like the idea of gambling. Poker is still a game of math and if you play according to the rules and math you ain't gambling.

Easiest wait to fight against tilt is to set up stop-loss technique. Which means if you for example have lost more than 3BIs for a session then you just stop the session for some time. The BI amount is set up from your own wanting. Some may put it higher, some lower. And after the stop you can easily just spend some time with evaluating your play.

Welcome to the Course and Best of luck! First points earned.
