The status which we expect to be purchased the most is Gold. Here, we've positioned ourselves below the price level of the typical subscription sites as mentioned in this thread already.

Sorry, but this is not true. Price for 3 month gold package is similar with typical subscription sites and I do not want do talk about their video quality. 3 months for platinum status is more than one year of subscription with other training sites...

You must be really crazy to go with these prices. You, as an admin, will always defend these prices and justified them. That's normal, you are working here.

No disrespect for other posters, but if you really want to be constructive you should stop comparing PS to other sites and break it down in numbers.
"I'd be willing to pay X amount per month/year for Y status"

And since the VIP packages have a higher price, I assume the quality of the status ( videos/coachings/articles ) will go up if it's not there already.

Guys you all have to realize that PS can't dilute the value of their subscriptions to existing members paying through rake by offering the subscriptions for much less.

Maybe you don't realize it, but when you watch 'free' videos you are in fact making PS tons of money as an affiliate, every time you play a hand you are shipping part of the rake to poker strategy. So a diamond member is worth at least the face value of the 12 month subscription sold by Pokerstrategy. I'd guess it's a lot more than that as
1) PS made the subscription cheaper than their revenue from diamond to make it somewhat accessible
2) They likely put it as minimum revenue generated by someone who makes a diamond, not those who go way over that minimum.

So you are paying loads of money to poker strategy when you are playing through their tracked accounts, offering that for too low amounts would be unfair to people that pay through rake. Selling access is not the primary business model, making money off of you when part of your rake gets shipped is. Once that changed PS can lower prices, but it never will.

what i would like to point out from the comments and this thread is there are two points of view that are facing each other. First group says that the price on diamond and platinum is too high comparing it to other sites, that may I add give only videos, no coaching, hand evaluation that are significant tools also. The other group says that platinum and diamond are exclusive. and they shouldnt be sold. Reviewing these two points makes alot of sence when looking at the prices. Platinum and Diamond statuses are EXCLUSIVE < read that a couple of times untill u figure out what it means, if u still dont get it read further. Exclusive means that they shouldnt be sold for a price offordable to most players, because if u choose to grind your way to it, its not going to be easy, it's not the first second or third status out there, if u are a Diamond that means u make a living playing poker, and selling the status cheaper would be absurd, and players that grinded the status with countless hours and endless effort would be very dissapointed in PS.

Thanks for your comments, Lem0n and CrazyStyle
