So after turn I know that he has like 77xx alot.

Should I weight his range towards 77xx on flop c/r. I don't know much about PLO2 ranges yet.

My problem is I crush like K7QJ, but am crushed by 77xx. Should I just pot control this and only call a river that helps me??? Against the range I gave him which was like 77xx and some sort of tp+sd combo i am not getting good enough eq to ship it on the flop (and the turn didn't help me at all :|)

p.s. Am I missing any likely hands from his range, I dont have alot of info about him other than he is playing 51/14 agg 1.9

Great hand, UTG which isn't so great but this is a real powerhouse. I raise to 6 cents preflop, a standard 3x raise preflop.

Flop comes AK7 rainbow which is what I consider to be the nuts. You make a good continuation bet of 2/3rds pot and get a small raise from the SB. On such a dry board with no draws out there, this really can only be another strong made hand unless you have a specific read that the guy is a bit fishy.

I would call the raise like you did and see what happens on the turn. If he was on a complete bluff maybe he just gives up at this point.

Well the turn card comes and it's the best card in the deck for us (barring an ace obviously!)

If we're behind at least we have 9 outs to the nuts. SB leads out 10 cents. I'm having a hard time putting him on a set with that weak lead now, maybe it is QJTx, so I can't find any fault in you shoving this turn because of your redraw.

If you didnt have a redraw I would consider just calling again since it's hard to imagine you're ahead but if you are ahead, there isn't much harm in playing it slow.

This whole hand comes down to "do you have a read on your opponent" and it is that read that will decide for you whether to reraise or fold on the flop pretty much.

This is a good example why PLO2, PLO4 and PLO5 are pretty hard. As compared to PLO10+. In these small limits, people don't play "logically". They don't know about equities, they don't know about protecting a hand, they don't know anything. Like this guy, with that turn bet he is just asking for you to outdraw him.

As far as I concider, you really can't put villains in to ranges in PLO2 that easily. There is always that X-factor.
