I don't think you would be analysis my "hands!"
Nope don't think i can beat the this level. Still sitting on 1038 but the standard of play is much higher. Dunno what im doing wrong but i keep on running into better hands. Probably a downswing but id rather a downswing playing $11
My bankroll has been leaking money over the past two days. I am down from 1170 to 840 and its really hurting me. I have not changed my strategy at all. Well i have actually improved it recently. I have decided to give poker a break for a while and come back with a clear head in week or so. I'll see you guys in a week!!

I think that's a good idea. I hope that you are back on track soon.
Good luck at the tables (when you are back)!

And don't forget to read some articles and watch some videos and/or coachings in meanwhile. It can help you to get back on track.
Cya soon
G'day
Just thought i would update my poker career for those who are interested.
My downswing for SNGs is over but i have played the past 50 with an ROI of 5% which is quite depressing but i did have the 80 before that at 45% so im not complaining.
Had a NL25 session two days ago. I played short handed for 1k hands and won 4 stacks but then had another session the next morning and lost 3 of them. I read each of the article twice but its still more difficult compared to SNGs. I'l put some more time into learning the game, i do enjoy seeing people calling big raises with mediocre holdings.
Last night played a $6 regular tourney on PP. I don't like playing them but my friend does so i played with him. The was 180 people and a prize pool of $900. After 5 minute i lost 3/4 of my starting stack with KK v AA but quick doubled up with AA v QJ allin PF. My friend went out 55th and i went on the come first and win $250! This i was really happy about because i don't play MTT. I didn't get lucky at all just played only 4 hands past the flop until the final table. but getting good value out the pots and regularly stealing, but i guess the main thing is that i didn't get unlucky too often.
All in all i have a bankroll of $1200 and have HoH vol I and II coming in the mail. Today i leave to travel interstate for an indefinite amount of time so poker is on hold for a while.
Until next time, Andrew
Just played 10 sng and made 3 BI. On the last one it was down to 3 players and i pushed with 3xBB with Q3s against a player tight in BB. Got called by AKs and i beat it. I know i made the right choice but i copped an barrage of abuse from this guy for the rest of the tourney. He was swearing and asking how i could do that. It was us two HU and i pushed from SB with A4s and he called with 22. He held up, won and made some smart ass comment. I laughed and closed the table.
The moral of the story -- I dunno just felt like telling it i guess. He thinks he is much better than he actually is. He says 'haha u suck i got u beat with 22'. I couldn't call 7xbb all in with 22. What did he put me on? A2/K2s?
How long does it take to get the PT license after i reach 2000 SP. I will reach 2000 next time it updates
Hi whipflip15!
Congratulations for winning the tournament! Concerning the guy: let him talk. If he is on tilt, it's good for you. You played it correctly so don't care about what he says. Those people are our best customers.
Good luck at the tables!

Hi whipflip,
Congrats with the tourney win.
About your question about the pokertracker license. The pokerrooms have to send a list with how many points the members have earned, when this list comes available, you will be on the list for the license key. But that can take some time, I believe it's something like 1 or 2 weeks. So please have a little patience. Puschkin can inform you about the exact waiting time perhaps...
Good luck!
if i was playing against daniel negreanu or phil ivey, i'd take a coinflip any day
that said, if you actually believed you were better than someone, coinflips are sooooo bad.
What can i do.
@ $11 sng. 35 BI downswing. Currently have 90 BI.
Tried everything.
Well i'm really confused. How can i win 100BI over 300 SNG now i have lost 40BI. From what i see the chances of that happening is really low unless i have changed my game. Which i am fairly sure i haven't. I've re-read the articles and my books. Watched all the videos again and i still can't win.
Any ideas would be appreciated...
EDIT: Poker is gone until new years FULL STOP Well the story goes... Just finishing my last 3 sng before heading to bed. I was looking at KK from BB. SB completes, I push and SB quickly calls with AA. That was fine. On the next table two hands later i had KK again. Allin PF against QQ. Q on flop and lose again. So i am starting to fume and just bout to go to bed when on my last sng i was dealt AA. UTG pushed and i called for all my chips only to find i was up against AA. Believe it or not but he makes his flush and i punched a whole in my wall.
Hi whipflip15!
I'm really sorry to hear that. Maybe it helps if you post some of your hands in our sample hands board: https://www.pokerstrategy.com/forum/board.php?boardid=1429
Good luck at the tables!

Hi whipflip15,
Very sad to hear your downswinging that bad... I'm in a very bad downswing as well, only thing to do about it is keep studying the game an keep playing your A-game. These hands are real coolers. Just take a break and come back stronger then before...
Good luck! (you can use some ;))
Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've update this and i just had some idiot runner runner flush my set. I don't want to tilt so I'll update you on my career.
Well i gave up SnG mid December due to a horrible swing and my bankroll was $1000. I took up 25NL on party and after 15k hands moved to 50NL but started on a downswing and had to move down again. Currently i'm back on 50NL My overall winrate for 50NL is almost back to 0
Here are my fishy stats. I know i have lots of leaks incuding being too tight and calling to many river bets but i'm working on it.

After being dealt AK off and AQ off 250 times each they are both losers for me. Not big losers but -0.1 BB/hand. AK because i just lost that pot i mentioned earlier. Overall ATs is my biggest loser but i have been outdrawn with it in two big pots.
Here is my PokerEV graphs for all hands at 50NL then those which i'm all in pre-river
Here is my biggest net loss on 50NL. This guy had only overbet the pot once in 300 hands and he got caught bluffing.

Currently i have $1600 on Party. $820 on FTP and $16 on PStars. I don't like Full Tilt and i dont think i will be bothering to clear my bonus. They are so much tighter on FTP and less fish than Party.
Thats all for now
Oh also am i able to change the title f the thread? And what % of Poker Strategers are female?
