[Closed] Is betraiser closing down?

On Thursday Febuary 10 2011 I registered an account with betraiser.com for the first time and deposited money. Immediately without even playing one hand of poker, my account was blocked.

I was alarmed and tried to withdraw my money but I cannot.

So I contacted their support and they started giving excuses, saying I have more than one account with them.

That is a ridiculous. If I have more than one account, why did they allow me to register and deposit money?

They say that if I want to withdraw my money I have to send them my id. Which is just plain extortion.

By now I suspected that they have serious financial problems or even worse, its just a scam.

Still I sent them my ID. Their reply was they would look at it and get back to me within 24hours.

Today is the 14th and still no reply from them. I still cannot withdraw my money.

Is anyone here registered with them?

If you have not played there in years I guess you can't tell if they recently developed financial problems. Do you still have funds with them?

Had some money there few months ago, withdrawal took few weeks I think and it would've prob taken longer if I didn't contact them after a while.

I seriously think I am not going to see my money again and there is no one to complain to.

I did not put in a lot. I am trying all of them out. I am doing a survey.

They just claim (through an email) that they have too much work to handle (and to be patient) even though their earlier email said that it would be done within 24hours.

There is a 2p2 thread dedicated to betraiser in the Internet Poker forum. you'll probably have better luck finding help there.

if you have problems contact the relevent regulator. its normally advertised at the footer of the relevent poker room's website.

eg Malta Gaming Commission etc, AFAIK.

I would have thought that after about 10 years of the existence Internet Poker, the scam sites wold have been exposed and eliminated but unfortunately they are still in existence.

I think 2p2 is funded by Internet Poker sites and always take the side of the Poker rooms even when they are scamming players. This site pokerstrategy.com it seems to me has more integrity and can be trusted as compare to 2p2

I wouldn't say so about 2+2, especially since most posters are simple people like you and me, same case with mods. I think 2+2ers did lots of work to reveal scamming, superusing, botting, multiaccounting etc

contact curacao. you should be able to get this sorted with them. its a major offence to claim licencing without having one, and you can claim damages. curacao certainly will if you won't .

someone needs to tell them though. if the money means enough to you to do something about it, pick up a phone.
