I think where you went wrong was pre flop

UTG +1 open limped and its folded to you??

I think you should have raised pocket 9's to 4/5bb to put him on a range..guys can do this with with AA KK from this position so if its folded back to him and he re-raises you the alarm bells should start to ring..depending on the player he has to have AK+ TT+ imo

BB raised 8 bb??

This looks like he wants to find out if either of you have a big PP KK+ or AQs (unlikely as he has pocket QQ) or AK

UTG +1 folds and you call..I think this lets him know you have a hand like AQs+ or a medium PP at best

Post flop his line looks like he has a really strong hand..chk/call flop... chk/call turn.... small river bet then a re-raise (very suspicious)

I think that pre flop you put BB on too narrow a range..you maybe could have re-raised there and if he calls your bet/re-raises you or shoves you can make an easy fold

On the river you MAYBE should have been suspicious of his small bet and just called ( the pot was very large as it was) and still left yourself with 30+ BB..when he puts you all in your more than likely beat but pretty much have to make the call

Yes i understand what you are saying. I see now that i made big mistake PF by not raising. I came to same conclusion about calling on the river, too bad i didnt realise it at the time...
Biggest mistake was that i didnt see his pf raise as a strong move of a skilled player, but then again i wouldnt have to if only have i raised first.

I have one more question. If i raise first in and he decides to reraise. Should i call according to call(20) rule or simply fold since im beaten.

And if i raise first and he decides to simply call, what to do after flop...i belive he would simply just Flop: check/call, Turn: check/call, River: reraise Hard to get any value like this...what do you recommend in this situation?

yeah i guess that you could isolate (raise) preflop. not really huuuuge mistake to limp behind though i think
however when he raises that enormously big you can't call. to setmine there you practically have to stack him off almost 100% of the time when you hit your set, which is not too likely

postflop well, just a sick cooler, don't really think you can just get away there while you don't even really know the opponent

Thank you for moving my post in the correct forums. I think that i learned enough to avoid same mistake next time

if i read to history wrong i would isoraise the limper with 99 (bottomrange here early for me, with lower pps i overlimp here). Then in a freeroll i would def. call against an overshover since its a freeroll. as played you can't really call for setvalue but your 99 are ip i guess strong enough to call them.
as played bet flop du protect your hand is ok -> you want value from his overcards!
As your 9 popps there is no way you can ever come out here!
