[Closed] PLO SNG and MTT

PLO tournaments is grey area. If you look at all the major sites for videos, you hardly find any. I think the problem is that no one has really "solved" it. Holdem tournaments have been solved long ago, most of the tournament coaches know how to play those tournaments.

But in PLO that work had not been done. There are different types of approaches. We are lucky to have one very succesfull PLO MTT player Operga in our Finnish community.

There is a ton of value in PLO tournaments. That is a fact. We can sometimes play plo tournaments in Skype study group. At least I am interested.

ya , that would be greate, i saw a lot of people playing PLO SNG and MTT as well. I don't want to register and blow it on a AATJ hand . Also we could use more PLO content on the site, more articles, more theory and more coaching sessions. Btw Kyyberi, what do you coach?

I played a STT PLO SnG yesterday, because of this thread..

Players were dreadful(But I ran good too)... Had 4x starting stack most of the SnG, and 17.5k v 2.5k going into hu(2k starting).
I wasn't ever forced to play shortstacked, so more or less stuck to my regular game without needing to consider survival..

on what platform do you play?

PP for now, the players are dreadful in lower stakes.

just want to ask about the coaching in other communities/languages/countries
whether any of the trainers conducts training with PLO MTT??

All you can do is ask the coaches beforehand.

If you go to the coaching page, set the filters to show only omaha and show all languages it should be a good place to start.

Maybe some MTT advice in general might also be the way to go as general game theory wont change whether it is holdem or omaha.
