[Closed] Elephant crashes on start

Hi again,

I have also tried to completely remove postgreSQL and reinstall and remake the database. I still have the same problem:

I have decided to preform a complete format on my computer (was about time anyway) which renders this thread moot on my part.

I'm pretty sure the problem itself would have been easily fixed by just deleting the current user config and letting the elephant create a new one ;-)

Im having the exact same problems. but i cant find a file named userconfig anywhere

the location of the user.config file depends on your OS, using Windows 7 for example it would be located here:

C:\Users\Your_name>\AppData\Local\PokerStrategy.com\Elephant.exe_StrongName...\0.99...

same path for windows vista. And no, your database won't be lost! In case it does not show up after deleting the configuration file just create a new database with the old name and the elephant should recognize it again.

Deleting the config file worked perfectly.

Please try updating it to the latest version (0.102). If you get the same error message please provide a logfile.

How can I provide a logfile?

First of all - please go to:

Start -> run -> %localappdata% -> PokerStrategy.com -> Elephant.exe_StrongName_

And delete everything inside it.

Fixed for me by deleting everything in the folder.
