My name is Darren Rudolph. Im a South African and am 25years old. I've been playing poker for just over 3years, but most of that time I focused on tournaments. I spent most of my time playing at Piggs Peak casino, because it is the easiest to cashout as they deal in Rands and directly with my Bank.
Over the last few months I've played about 30k-40k CG hands on Pokerstars. I'l do ok for a while, then ashamed to say this but, loose it back and more sometimes playing when Im drunk at the wrong games/limits. I know I shouldnt be doing this, but have done it 3times already over the last two months. Though, I am working on this and think cash games are a very important aspect in a poker players career. Actually drinking way less nowadays which is really good news for me physically and financially! So the bulk of my hands played at Stars has been at NL5, about 28k hands with a winrate of 3.2 BB / 100 BB. When I played previously, I was playing to make money, and I think this distracted me alot cause you cant really make money at these limits. I've realised it's more of a stepping stone in one's career. So my goal ATM is to make two stacks a day ($10) until my BR has reached $300, before I move to NL10. This should take another two weeks cause Im currently on $155 BR.
Hope this is a valid introduction and Im looking forward to the course! ♠_biggrin:
