We have tangled before in the past and he knows I can 4b pretty light, caught him 5b shipping on me with A5s before.
Seen him c/r on 589r bet T 2 gives up on 8 R vs me in a srp with 33.

During this session I looked him up & he was 6 tabling aprox an hour be4 this hand went down and wasn't particularly active with 3bets, although he caught me 4b'ing light vs him when I thought he was getting out of line not too long ago and I had a very active image.

He tanked this hand and almost timed out (no timebank on ipoker) so im guessing his range is AQ+ TT+for value as he could be min 5betting as he didn't want to time out or he could also be trapping with AA or KK or even some weird bluff/misclick although I highly doubt it given how he was playing. Never seen him make this play before.

villains stats are 24/20 5.6 3b /12 4b over 9k

Grabbed by Holdem Manager

If you give him TT+, AQ that's an easy shove I guess

easy shove obv vs TT+ AQo+ but im not very certain of that range tbh, seems like he could be taking this line with AA-KK as well. or could just be me being results oriented

I'm shoving over his sqz in this spot since I'm never 4b/folding.
It also looks weaker, like u could have sth like 55.

As played I'm folding to his 5bet. In my experience it's KK, AA in 80% of cases especially with not that aggro dynamic.

Given that we saw he is capable of 5betbluffing I think the small 4bet is better than a shove.

It's hard to say what his actual range looks like, but in general I agree with this - and still, a thinking opponent could ofc easily exploit this by making it so small with smth like AK, too. In this case we should definitely shove JJ.

TT+,AQo+ ofc includes AA and KK.

On balance I personally fold JJ because it's my experience too that this min5bet is pretty much always KK+, but I think getting it in can't be a big mistake either given the history you have with him and the amount of money in the pot.

I have seen this guy also make the play with AK, never as a bluff though hes only 5b jammed with bluffs so with this info i like the shove.
