[Closed] 3/6 AJs vs bad turn

Hi!

Pretty much a snap calldown for me. Sure his hand looks like one with weak SD value but these also include some worse hands than yours(like some K,A highs) or at least hands where you have 6+ outs against and you for sure dont want to fold it vs these. Not to mention his range for sure includes at least some bluffs and in SBlimping range for sure includes quite a decent amount of these. And also fact that he goes for ,,limp from SB vs BB,, tactic after just 45 hands when you are quite unknown to him seems more bad player tendency (hope its spelled right ) than anything else and we dont want to make exploitable folds vs these guys.

Villains with these stats can be "valuebetting" A6 here.

As a rule against such unpredictable and aggressive opponents, I don't actively seek spots to add hands to my folding range.

If you want to fold at a certain point in this hand, it would be with A2 on a 6 of hearts river, I think AJ is too strong.

Thank for the answers. My dilemma in this hand was that if I put Ax in his donking range, and therefore not folding basically 98% of turn-river combos, I'd much much prefer a raise flop bet turn check river line here (calldown a flop 3bet). So exploitatively speaking I have no calldown range here if I don't want to fold on any turns. It may be a bit messy thought, so in other words: with a hand that I'd plan to call down always I'd much rather raise the flop for a free SD, and let my calldown range be on only good cards (like with Kx here on bricks etc.). So you basically say that with these strong A his I should be raising the flop, that is certainly a possibility and probably a better play hence the better assumption.

Now since I didn't put that many Ax in his range, I definitely called here to fold on some turn cards, but still called down on this which is inconsistent since it's one of the worst turn cards for me, and still wasn't sure about folding, and that's why I found this hand interesting for me.

So once again, thanks for the answers.:)

Personally in position I think you're best off just calling all 3 streets here vs a lunatic like this and you'd have to crash my internet connection to make me fold

Playing "Balanced" vs someone like this is called losing money.

If he turns up with something like 44 here, which is totally consistent with his line then thank him for saving you a bet and celebrate with a coffee with the $3 you've saved.

Also I'm not sure I like your idea of raising the flop and betting the turn as you don't allow him to barrell off all his bluffs, you deny yourself implied odds should you improve (You ARE Raising improvement right??) and he's never going to miss a value raise vs you either and you open yourself up to getting screwplayed on the turn and putting yourself in a horrible situation.
