The LB was again updated, and I'm in 2nd place now, I actually played a bunch of games with the guy in 3rd place. I've been trying to figure out what the hell the other guy in 1st place is playing, but I couldn't find him, there is no such thing a player search unfortunately :(

For a moment this afternoon I thought that I might make it to first if I put in a crazy amount tomorrow, but that's not doable unfortunately. The first place made about 2k LB points in a day, which is crazy since I only made about 1300-1400 when I put in 200 games of $11s. Even today I don't think I made 2k points, with about 100 $22s and 100 $11s. So now it's just solid grinding for 2nd, which is still $750 but $1k sounds a lot better

go crush it :)
how much is 2nd place? 1st is $1k, right?

btw, sharkscope has a "favourite games" search at detailed search. at least for sngs. Try it on the guy if you are interested.

and tomorrow you will go CRUSH 'EM!!!! _evil:

You quoted the answer to the question you posed, interesting way of doing it.

Regards,
Richard

lol @ me :f_biggrin: I'm such a regfish.

as for Demonic: my advice is still to actively mix in the $22s! I'm sure you have a positive ROI on those as well.

good luck, man, hope you will rake enough.

Dear mr. Regfish,

If you read the previous posts, and also the post you quoted, you could have seen that I'm already mixing in $22s _cool:

No hard feelings _love:

I'm so fucking tilted at the moment, literally everything is going wrong. I walk into Ax every three hands, when I do have a good calling hand the reg has AT+ etc etc. Blegh bah f*** this shit. So I'm in freefall mode atm.

I think I'm outrunning the third guy but man does it have to be like this? Sure I haven't played my A-game either, but what do you expect after so much shit.

/tiltmode off, going to eat a bit and have my last session of the challenge, hopefully a better one.

Well. I meant MORE $22s that I obviously already knew, since I advised you to do it (I think )

The day is finally over, it took a bit longer than expected because the leaderboard ends at 23:59 GMT, so that's three hours later than my timezone. Every hour I thought I was done, and checked the GMT time, and realized I had to play for another hour. The guy in third place was also playing till 02:00 my time so I had no choice than to keep playing.

I played 313 games today and I'm fucking exhausted atm, as one can imagine after that many games and not running so great. Of those 313, 269 were $22s and the rest $11s.

I will make the calculations tomorrow to see if I made it or not, but I would be very surprised if he somehow got more points than me today. I'll also do a long recap about the challenge tomorrow but for now I need sleep

The first guy is maybe playing 30-man?
Anyway impressive work, keep it up!
Do you use some multi tabling software for Ongame?

Thnx!

Could be that he's playing 30mans, I have thought about that too, but I'm not sure if the 30mans fill up quick enough to get that kind of volume going.

No, I don't use any scripts yet, because I didn't want to test them while I was playing 7-8 tables, and before that I was too lazy to look into it but I will in the near future probably.

I have d/loaded Ongame Cat tho, just haven't used it yet.

An unexpected turn of events, after the last update of the leaderboard, which is updated until the 19th, I'm in first place! For some reason the former number 1 has been removed from the leaderboard as a whole.

Kind of excited but I also realize that they could have made some mistake and that they will fix that in the final result, but I'll see.

So the promised recap of the last week.

I started the challenge playing on the $11s, with about 170-180 games a day in the first days. I ran really well in them and continued to do so on the third day where I played 200 games in a day for the first time ever. On the fourth day I decided to mix in some $22s because my BR grew substantially in the first few days and I was properly rolled for them. I only played about 25 of them, but in total I had another day with a bit over 200 games. I was still running good on the $11s, but the $22s made my profit of that day disappear. On the fifth day I played a bit more $22s and actually made a nice profit in them, again I played 200 games but it was getting considerably harder and I was looking forward to the end of the challenge.

However, on the 6th and especially the 7th day I was getting soulcrushed at the $22s, as you can see from my previous post yesterday I was pretty messed up. So the last day, which was yesterday, was another record breaking day, despite the bad run I passed the point of 300 games in a day. A month ago I wouldn't have thought it was possible to do that or that I would even remotely consider myself capable of doing that.

To compare some numbers, the amount I played yesterday, I would normally play in a week. And the amount of games I played during this challenge is possibly even more than I have ever played in a month, because I have played a total of 1471 games, a mix of 5max/10max and $11s+$22s.

Some statistics from this challenge:

Number of games: 1471
Games a day on average: 210
Hours played: 67.8 hrs
Number of VIP points collected: 9380
Number of LB points achieved: 9624
Rake paid: $1898
Profit from games: $47 (lol)
Profit with benefits: $47+ $1000 LB bonus+~$470 VIP RB+$275 Loyalty bonus = $1792

I will most likely also get an extra $100 on the PS rakerace LB, because of this challenge.

A little graph:

As you can see, my profits were totally destroyed in the last days, you could say, your EV line is also flat, so you got what you deserved but of course the EV line doesn't tell the whole story. Obviously I didn't play my A-game all the time, but I'm pretty sure I can beat the 5max games for a good amount.

Overall, I really liked to do this challenge because I wanted to prove to myself that if I set my mind to something I can accomplish almost everything I want. So this challenge has not only been quite rewarding $$ wise but I think my mindset improved overall. I also know now where my absolute limits for a day or a week lie, which is good to know obviously.

One last thing I did not mention at all yet, is that I'm also opted in the $60000 Natural Born Grinders promotion of Betfair, which I only discovered a few days ago. I ended up on the 16th place of most player points achieved in a week. I need to have 3 more decentish weeks before the end of November to qualify, hopefully in the top 50 (They will average the four best weeks out of 8 weeks for the total LB). If I manage to end up in the top 50, I will get an extra $175+ some added % of PS.

I know it's a wall of text, but I hope everyone enjoys reading it!

Very interesting, sir!

Who cares if you played BE? This week's profit comes from rb and lb! And it's the same kind of $$ it's not like you don't crush these games normally

I'd like to congratulate to the huge moniez, man you made a lot in one week!! Cheers! Don't forget to drink a beer to that in my name ;)

Yeah you are right, it's just the competitive devil inside me that doesn't like it :P

Too bad I didn't read it earlier about the beer, I was at an Oktoberfest so I drank 1L beers, would have been a good beer to drink in your name :f_cool:

Btw, diamond now huh? Congratz, I'll join you soon in the Diamond club!

Very nice work, congratz i agree with above posters you made nice profit, so don't worry about be strech!

Ongamecat seems not to be updated any more so i switched to ongbetter (it's not free though but it's better than cat)

btw We played a couple of games you sucked out on me 2 or 3 times _evil:, so part of that profit is mine _biggrin: - you are allowed to drink couple of litres of beer from my share

Ah cool, would you mind sharing your nick? (if you don't mind, of course you can also send a pm if you don't want to have it public)

Yeah I might look into ongbetter, someone else also recommended it.

I also recommend Ongbetter. Pretty much the only software which works for SnGs there and is often updated.

I started playing some $3-5 5max games there too. Seems to be much more valuable than 10max. But I have 1 big problem, my HU game, and I often get there early at 25/50 blinds. Maybe you could recommend some material to learn, here or pm if it's elsewhere?

And another question, how much % rakeback do you think is possible on Betfair after raking $1500/month but with no first deposit/reload bonuses?

And another question, how much % rakeback do you think is possible on Betfair after raking $1500/month but with no first deposit/reload bonuses?

For the videos, faarcyde made a good video about HU in general (6max and FR), and also Collin produced one this week, didn't check that one out yet so can't say about that one but based on previous vids of Collin, it's most likely good.

About the RB%, that's a bit hard to answer because it really depends on what VIP status you are, are you regged through pokerstrategy etc. But I can give you an assumption based on my previous month: I played a little over 1200 games, and got almost 72% RB excluding the FD bonus. I reached the Diamond level in the VIP club of Betfair, which gave me about $350 worth of VIP points (store points), $325 from the Betfair LB, and $200 from the PS rakerace.

So with $1500 you could probably be in the top 50 of the Betfair LB every week, most likely even higher for $100-$125 each week, $1500 will give you $200 (top 100) usually in the PS rakerace, and a bit more than $400 for VIP points (rough estimate). So all together that will be about 73% if you manage to collect $125 each week from the LB (1100/1500*100 = 73).
