Combating the mid-stack strategy

With the min buy-in raised to 50bbs at the tables I play at and the ever increasing numbers of these "mid-stackers" , how do you guys adjust to these players?

I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the mid-stack strategy atm tbh, so I'd like to start a discussion on this.

Also, if anyone could post any links pertaining to this topic it would be greatly appreciated. :f_biggrin:

Set mine a lot

Don't 3bet too much

Polarise a lot your 3bet range

:f_eek: agreed, unless the guy is uber tight u shouldn't really be set mining due to the lower implied odds.

MSS'ers are usually bad at playing postflop.

Or if they 3bet u, make sure your 4bet range + fold equity = +EV
