Hi everyone my name is James im 30 years old and im from manchester. I`v been playing poker on and off for about 10 years now so im not really a beginer but having gone though nearly all the coaching videos that my currant level allows me to, i feel like a complete novice with the amount of infomation there is to take in. Any way i feel im ready to take on the massive challenge now i have plenty of time on my hands after recently the army.
Any help that anyone can give me to improve my game will be greatly appreciated
Question 1: What is your motivation for playing poker? (Be as vague or specific as you want with this one, but try to think of all the reasons and elaborate on them.)
my main motivation for playing poker is to earn money, and become good enough to play full as my main income for living.
Question 2: What are your weaknesses when playing poker? (What are the mistakes you know you are making during your games? Are you playing while you're tired? Are you tilting easily? Want to see the showdown too much? Write down as many as you think are affecting you.)
i think im main meakness is when my bank roll get big i seem to try the bigger limits and lose my whole bankroll and have to start again, all i think that the amount of tables i have to play at once is maybe far to many, but i see it as the only way of keeping me from playing ok hands but from bad positions..e.g not had a playable hand for 15+ hands then get a Q9 suited MP1 and just have to play it.
Question 3:What does it mean to play tight aggressive? (Describe in your own words what playing tight aggressive is and why does it work.)
Tight aggressive is where you wait for premiam hands or good poistion and only play about 1 hand in every 10 and when u play it your either raising or re-raising and playing ur hand aggressively.
