Also, if any of you like good horror then I really suggest watching "The Walking Dead", it's an unusually good tv series in my humble opinion. TV series usually don't grab me easily (well, the not-funny ones at least :) ) so maybe that means something. Weirdly realistic, and I started to feel that there are some real characters on the screen not just some meat that's gonna get eaten in the next episode.
There are even episodes when there is only a few minutes or even less with the "walking dead" and the rest is about the characters trying to live/survive with each other.

Don't expect anything huge tho, but I do think it does worth a shot if you are into this stuff.

Reason why I wrote this is because it airs on monday morning local time (CET) and I can't wait to see the next episode :) Wish it aired on saturdays and I could watch it on sundays. Anyway... first world problems lol.

Oh, and somewhere back when I started, 6 months+ ago Ingi requested pictures of my precious city. Well, in case she is still reading, I haven't found anything capable so far even though I was looking.

Until now, I think this looks pretty good.

Cheers:

hehehehe I didn't think I was going to find someone who watches it here :)

Surprisingly, I like season 2 better than season 1. Reason is that they've found a pace for themselves and it's not hectic like season one. I mean look at episodes 4, 5 and 6, lol like if they were different shows
You have to overlook a few stupidities (well, tv show after all) but imo it's pretty good.

Well, a looooong time ago I used to watch House regularly, which is not the case anymore. I sometimes still watch it in tv but def not regularly. Probably even further in the past I watched the first season of Lost which was probably one of the biggest timewastes of me in front of a screen. I also watched season 1 of Heroes, didn't impress me too much. Also watched season one of "Falling Skies", was pretty bad, I wouldn't recommend it at all. That's the ones I don't watch
I've seen CSI from like season 9 (and random episodes from earlier) and I'm regularly watching the new episodes now, I kinda like it. I've also seen "Battlestar Galactica" which sounds really stupid by the title but as a matter of fact it's the very very best tv show I've ever seen in my life. I really recommend it to everyone.
And the funny ones: Family Guy, How I met your mother, Big Bang Theory, and stuff like this :)

omg it became a long one.

Nice picture, I have actually been to Budapest twice (both times for the Sziget festival). One time I even walked back to my hostel from the festival to the Petofi Hid bridge

|Pretty much same here. I watch Walking Dead, House (still regularly hehe), CSI (LA and Miami) and Dexter now. No comedies though. :)

I was avoiding those space adventures but maybe that Battlestar Galactica could be the one to start if it's good. And you should try Game of Thrones from creators of Sopranos. One of the best I've seen, can't wait for season two. :f_biggrin:

EDIT: Ohh and Breaking Bad too!

Ah just to make it clear I pretty much dislike CSI Miami and I'm not a huge fan of NY either :)

Yea it's not like I'm into star trek or anything :) I try to avoid cheap sci-fi series all the same. This one's different, trust me ;)

Bored? No not really, but I was not in a sober state of mind as you can imagine, and I was quite focused on finding my way back

Right now, I don't plan to go there next year, but who knows. Anyway, I'll let you know when I do decide to go. I also have a friend living in Pomaz, so I might even visit Budapest again, even when I'm not going to the festival.

That'd be great man, I'd definitely like to show you a great place to grab a beer or maybe two :)*

Cheers!

* maybe show two great places for grabbing beer, maybe showing a great place to grab two beers, maybe showing two great places for grabbing two beers on each place. "Two" obviously doesn't mean the number itself, it is a metaphore of "more than one".

Seems to be more or less global metaphore :)

In Finland it tend to mean a LOT. "One" is like 2-3 from my experience. Though personally I use veeery little alcohol.

UPDATES for frak's sake or I'll run low on mindset! I feel my mindset can emptying. And that sucks :)

Anyway, I got to a conclusion after a healthy (and successful) Sunday grind that if I played 23 SnGs on each day of the last 10 days of the month, I will be GOOOOD with my volume goals, and since I kept my avg BI relatively high so far, my rake goal seems okay so far all the same.

On Monday, I played 35 or 36, point is that I exceeded the daily goal by a healthy amount. Today I played 28, which is also a good thing. But I was planning on this as I won't be able to play on Thursday, and maybe not even on Friday, so I def want to do Thursday before Thursday... I hope that made sense. Anyway, point is that I don't want to be falling behind, I'd much prefer to work ahead a bit.

Oh, also, as much as I enjoy playing poker and everything that comes with it, I started to view it as something "obligatory", something like a job. "like a job" and not "job" because I'm not living off this money (thankfully, that way I'd be pretty poor), but I'm definitely thinking of poker as not some recreational activity. It has good and bad sides alike. What do you think, is this good? (bearing in mind that I DO still enjoy playing poker!!)

Imo it is good since if I'm to ever turn pro this is the kinda downside - playing even when you sometimes have better things to do - so maybe I'll get a feeling of how this is and I'll be able to make a better decision somewhere in the future when I'll decide what to do with my little quest for happiness (commonly known as "life").

Don't get me wrong, it definitely isn't hitting my uni or my social life bad, I have friends and I try to regularly go out with them, it's more like that I'd love to watch a film or read a book or something and I'm kinda cutting down on that type of entertainment because I have work to do.

Also, I'm trying to avoid the term "I'm playing poker" as much as I can. Luckily, in Hungarian you can easily use "poker" as a verb, so I can kinda say "I'm pokering" which is closer to reality I guess. The word "play" doesn't get the others closer to viewing this as a job, and it would also be unfortunate if they were thinking "lol he is playing and he takes it seriously".

I rambled on long enough once again. As you can see their is no middle way. No updates for half a month or constant walls of text.

I wish you all a happy evening and several happy days to come :)

akrammon, over and out

I agree.

BTW, we also have a joke for that: One beer is no beer, two beer is half a beer, three beers - now that's a beer!! One beer? No beer...

Yea it looks very stupid written down but after one (3, 6, 9, etc) beers it is pretty funny. Homework for weekend to try it out with friends (in case you didn't know it already which is also impossibru)
