Well, budget is... eh. Anyway, I'll link what was suggested in a sec, main activities has to be poker mostly, with a few side things such as movies and maybe in the future I'll want to run 2 screens simultanously. edit: pc games occasinally for recreation but def not a main goal to be a "gamer pc" edit*2: and most importantly it has to be functional for 5 years(at least)!
Recommended one is:
* Intel "WoodWorth" Classic Series Micro ATX motherboard (DH61WW)
(dunno if WoodWorth is any sort of official name or just the store made it up, lol)
* Intel Core i5-2400 3.1GHz processor (4Core, 6MB L3 cache, 1333MHz FSB, LGA1155, EM64T, 32nm, max. TDP 95W)
* 4GB PC3-10600 DDR3 RAM kit (Kingston, KVR1333D3N9K2/4G, 64bit, CL9)
* Chieftec Smart DTG350 350W PFC battery (battery is not the correct word but I'm not very good with these technical terms. so the thing for the power supply ♦ )
next one: I have no idea what it is so answering that would be nice ♦ costs €10 but it'd still be nice to know ♦
* 8GB PC3-10600 DDR3 RAM kit (Kingston, KVR1333D3N9K2/8G, 64bit, CL9)
and vga cards are to be chosen from the following list of 4 cards:
* MSI Radeon R6770-MD1GD5 PCI express VGA card with 1GB GDDR5 RAM
* MSI Radeon R6790-PM2DIGD5/OC PCI express VGA card with 1GB GDDR5 RAM
* MSI Radeon R6850 -PM2D1GD/OC PCI express VGA card with 1GB GDDR5 RAM
* MSI R6870-2PM2D1GD5/OC PCI express VGA card with 1GB GDDR5 RAM
obviously prices increasing from top downwards. Last one is def too much for me. Obviously top is worst and it gets better downwards so I just want a general opinion on the top one for example.
as for the budget, this setup already "exceeds" the budget (family got together for a joint op for my birthday/christmas and everyone gave me money for a new pc, anything above that limit is to be paid by me) so I just basically wanna test if this setup is any good, I have literally no idea how good this CPU is, nor the VGA, and absolutely ZERO idea about the motherboard. I see that the RAM is good ♦

@dydukas I saw it in your blog but as you can see I'm no expert. I'd def avoid ASUS from what I've heard tho. (maybe mixing it up with acer?... crap... That's why I didn't want to give any advice to you ♦ )

OK, I ll start with:
Processor: It is good value but I think u get better one, 6-core actually for the same price - AMD Phenom II X6 1090T. Intel also has integrated graphic chip u definitely dont need.
Motherboard: Doesnt matter that much, just check if it fits the processor and memmory so u can use the max power.
Memmory: I would go for 2*4GB, Kingston was always good, nice value, I would buy the best I can depending on money and what motherboard lets me.
Power source: 350W is ridiculously low. I would go for 500+ wats, Seasonic is a good brand, avoid Eurocase.
Graphic card: I would also go for ATI, depends on your budget. MSI or Sapphire or Asus or Gigabyte - just check what cooling it has if it is not too nosiy...
And - 5 years at least - man 5 years is nuts these days ♦
I can just say: 2 screens - no way around it nowadays!
350W - also agree that its way to low.

Yea, I definitely will mention the power source, I had problems with the last one as well. It burned out under the heat ♦
as for the cpu, the shop gives some extra long warranty for intel so I think I'm sticking to it. Probably will be good enough I hope. Also as far as I'm concerned (correct me if I'm wrong) Intel is better for non-gaming purposes in general? I don't have any experience with AMD tho.
I'm not exactly sure I'm getting this, in what I wrote there is 1*4gb and 1*8gb RAM or wtf? Or maybe there is 1*4gb and he listed the other one as an alternative?... But it is best performance if you buy more RAMs as far I'm concerned, so 2*4 > 1*8, right?
As for the VGA, noise doesn't matter, I'm not sleeping when I'm using the pc 
and noone else should! haha. Anyway, is MSI some low-class ATI or what? I'm really uneducated here.

Oh and btw my old pc lasted around 5 years, well, barely running HM and a poker client right now ♦ 
but it is driven by a Celeron, for Christ's sake I'm surprised it's working at all.

It is common - Intel is Intel, longer warranty, not for gamers...;) I think these are just some talks that spread...If I could get better value, better performance for the same money, I wouldnt care what brand it is, it both should be perfect. And again, why to buy intel with graphic chip integrated? But both wont be mistake...
2*4GB better thn 1*8GB.
Msi is prob cheapiest but it differs in cents It is all the same almost it differs only when some brand adds something or uses the better core but it thn costs more money. It doesnt matter what brand I think.
500W minimum, dont be cheap there, u knwo it yourself if u burned the last one :)) U can burn motherboard, cpu and so on with it next time ...
The first graphic card doesnt have dual DVI so better go for the next one at least. U would connect two monitors by DVI/HDMI and so on somehow but it ll better work and u ll have more software options I think if u can use dual DVI.

OK I think I said it wrong, was thinking in Czech, writting in English and playin some poker lol.
All the graphic cards has Dual-DVI connectors. It is standard these days, earlier there were single_DVIs that support less resolution. So all cards are ok with that. All cards also has HDMI connector. The first one has only one dual-DVI connector, others has two. U can plug in one LCD on DVI, one on HDMI or two in DVI, u can use many adapters and so on. Another connector that have I think the three better cards is display port - imagine it like that, there were D-SUB thn DVI thn HDMI thn display port - every new connector handles better resolution, quality, also sound and so on...I think if u arent super into this thing u ll be ok with any connectors.
And one more thing - if your card has only one connector, u can buy "splitter" and still conect two lcds

Actually I don't know. I think rakeback is practically still better in some other site with fdb? I have not really done any calculations though. Also I might be interested to go back into pokerstars. Rakeback with supernova will be nice in there as well plus much more action in 50$+ games. Have to give more thought on this next month.
Btw does Collin have those coachings on regular basis or is this some special one?
