If you have a bluetooth you can use mouse with it. Or docking station. For oldies like this laptop it should not be expensive.

With the help of Bubalus I picked this one:
Silver XPS 17 L702X i7-2720QM 3.3 Ghz 17.3 HD+ LED 8GB RAM 640GB 7200rpm DVD+/-RW/ BlueRay CAM,WiFI, BT, 9cell 3GB Nvidia GT555+Intel HD 3000 DOS 3 Yrs.

Here's a few advice:
- Quad core is worth the money. With 8 GB RAM, quad cores, 8 threads there's no (multi)task this laptop couldn't handle
- Full HD isn't needed. If you're not extremely picky for movies then 1600x900 is more that enough. Use TV throughHDMI for movies!
- Even with a good graphics card, laptops are worst choice for games. Medium settings should run on most games pretty well but that's it
- Go for backlit keyboard! On the old one the light from monitor used to help but now the monitor is just too far away
- Glare and anti-glare doesn't really differ that much uness you're viewing from extreme angles
- Don't buy Intel HD+nVidia graphic combo. Saves battery but Intel HD isn't even capable of rendering Windows areo themes and it doesn't always switch to nVidia when needed

All in all I rate this laptop 8.5/10. If you're not into serious games then I recommend this.

Again thanks for the help!

1. HD+ with strong computer specs>FHD with weaker specs. FHD is a marketing thing that keeps people paying more money for a laptop.
2. Buying a standard FHD external monitor extra could be cheaper than buying laptop with FHD.
3. Laptops for gaming start from the price of 1200€, more likely 1500€ and up. Some good gaming laptops are as follows:
1) Asus G74SX with GTX 560M graphics
2) Dell Alienware M17 x R3
3) Dell Alienware M18x
If you consider buying something cheaper then GT 555M graphics should be minimum! Also: many GB of Video Ram becomes handy with resolutions over Full HD 1920x1080. Dont fall for this trap when choosing between different models and video cards. One example: GTX (X stands for extreme) 560M with 1GB of RAM is faster than GT 555M 3GB!
4. Laptops with glare screens should be used apart from direct light sources like the Sun, lamps etc. Otherwise your screen becomes like a mirror and watching is troublesome.
5. Intel HD+nVidia combo needs the latest drivers to run properly (as it would be with any graphics card). It should be possible to switch to Nvidia only when plugged in from Nvidia Control Panel and switch to Intel when on battery.

Dell XPS is a very good choice for overall multimedia and can handle every multitask you throw at it.

Edit: For nVidia + Intel switching problem: 1. Get the latest video drivers 2. Go to BIOS and change settings so that your laptop only uses nVidia.

Cheers
