I see where you are coming from, villain play makes no sense whatsover so I dont think you can put this down to some kind of steal / move.
There are still a number of explanations, misclick, misread of hand, drunk, tired, tilting, favourite hand etc.
This does seem to happen quite a lot on stars and other sites and usually later on in mtts.
Apparently bots usually have numbers in their screen names so possible I guess.
I can only suggest that in a similar situation, you get raised by a player with 2 - 3 numbers at the end of screen name, in a spot where you are obviously looking for action or committed, fold no matter what you have
