I'm playing on a mac as well. Pokerstars and party poker have a software that runs on Mac.

For tracking software you need to be looking at Pokertracker 3. Holdem manager doesn't have a mac software yet.

If you go for party the problem is that the hand history is in a format which PT3 can't read, so Party has to do an update. About stars I don't know.

I Play on party and use holdem manager. I installed parallels, didn't want to but otherwise I couldn't use a HUD and that was no option.

Then there are clients which provide an instant play software. This means you can play without installing it. 888 poker for example uses this. They don't have a mac-software, but you can play in your browser. Problem again no HUD I think and you can only see 1 table I think no matter how big your screen is.

My advice go to stars, it's the easiest one.

How do I transfer the $50 from the quiz into the PokerStars account?

like i said earlier, Stars does not offer the starting capital anymore so you wont be able to receive it there. you will have to pick one of the rooms here.
the only condition is that you must not have had a previous real money account in that room:

It's a February with party night of Friday to Sunday ♠_biggrin:

I did the test without knowing any strategy.
Very easy test based on logic and pre/post flop hand value.
The only thing you need to do is asnwer from a ABC poker prespective and learn the BM the PS is taking for "correct".

But if you don't have an account on party, this is roughly what you need to do.

Download software
Make a account
Use the bonus code PS150 (i think)
Insert your fill in the form of the real money account on party poker.
Leave you party poker name on this forum.
Couple of days later TADAAA ♦
If you go to http://www.pokerstrategy.com/party-poker/download/ You'll find all the details on how to get the $50 on party poker.
Make sure to read it properly and do it step by step like they tell you! Don't forget the bonus code!!!!
