Preflop: Hero is BB with K A
UTG+2 calls $0.05, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.05, MP3 calls $0.05, CO folds, BTN raises to $0.20, SB folds, Hero raises to $0.85, 4 folds

Results: $0.57 pot
Hero mucked K A and won $0.57 ($0.37 net)

Was my 3bet size too big?

Definitely, way too big, ~$0,70 should be enough.

so 3X raise size and then +1BB per limper?

You can usually just add the limps into the raise. For example 3x + $0,15 because of 3 limps. But of course overall rather do it bigger than way too small. :)
