SB bets $0.20, BB folds, Hero calls $0.20

Turn: ($0.76) 3 (2 players)
SB bets $0.40, Hero folds

Results: $0.76 pot ($0.05 rake)
Final Board: 5 T Q 3
SB mucked and won $0.71 ($0.39 net)
Hero mucked J 9 and lost (-$0.32 net)

I think this is standard.
But would you consider the fold on the turn as a close decision?

you may want to consider jacking the flop and taking a couple free cards if he calls or else even continuing to barrell as you are the preflop raiser and can continue to show strength.
