You have 2 main options here imo. Firstly you have 888, who have good software, lots of traffic and lots of fish. More so than elsewhere. The down sides are that their VIP is pretty unrewarding, so you wont get more than 20% rakeback.

The alternative is an iPoker skin (770, William Hill or Titan). William Hill and Titan both have really good first deposit bonuses, meaning at least 35% rakeback during your first month or two. iPoker has really good traffic for your limit and table size as well.

The software isnt great in fairness, but it can easily support 6 tables without any trouble. The main positive point for iPoker is the VIP systems the skins use. So for William Hill for example, I would expect you to be getting one of the highest VIP levels, which for cash game players means about 50% rakeback, with FDB on top and then our exclusive promotions on top (like raked hands races, top 250 race etc).

So I am thinking either William Hill or Titan for the best ROI. Or both, if you wanted to rinse the FDB on one then move over to the other. I recommend that you make Will Hill the long term one though, if only so you make more money from our Top250 race.

Hope that helps mate.

1. Which game type you play? Going to giveup holdem for now and try PLO as soon the new year hits.
2. Which limit do you play? Gonna start at plo10, however possibility to go down to plo5 if things goes to shit are most welcome.
3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up? Shorthanded, want to be able to play at least 6 tables.

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month) Guess im gonna try at least 1h/day.

Tracked rooms already are WH, europoker (not used dep. bonus), party poker, 24hpoker. got non-tracked accounts on Titan, pokerstars, paddy power poker, unibet, betfair, bet365.. not sure about 888 :P

I'd like at least 30% rb (vip/flat/depbonus1month+/)- based on that I rake approximately 4-500$/month on plo10. "change seat" option in software is definitely preferred.

Thanks in advance :)

Your account via William Hill is probably your best bet mate if you want to play tracked. I appreciate you wont be able to get a First Deposit Bonus again, however you have so many accounts that its difficult to suggest a room from our list of partners!

The best traffic for PLO is Ongame and iPoker, then 888. On iPoker, you still have Poker770 where you can get your FDB and about ~15% rakeback from their VIP system each month. Alternatively you can try bwin on Ongame, however you will not get much rakeback from them.

So I guess my recommendation would be: 888 for soft tables, good software and enough traffic, but very little rakeback from either the FDB or VIP system.

Or

Play on your account at William Hill, with average software, good traffic and about 20% rakeback each month.

Overall I would lean towards 888. Hope that is helpful mate.

The traffic at Party may not be enough to do 6 tables at the same time, though the software has the functionality you want.
.

Sadly, PartyPoker don't offer PLO lower than PLO25, which makes the tables on PLO25 quite soft, but also brings a LOT of shortstackers and sharks who should've been playing higher, but know the fish will pay them off often enough.

Regards,
Richard

Hey Jaysonma,

Although I can't recommend a poker room for live games, I would suggest playing at your local poker room, saving on petrol has to be +ev

Thanks
Patrick

Just kidding! I think Ongame would be a great network for you, they have game structures that you can't find elsewhere, for example they have HU, 3 max, 5max, 6max, full ring games, they also have a good tournament schedule if you fancy a total change for a day.

Check out Betfair you get a First Deposit Bonus up to $2500 this should be easily achievable if you are playing 16-32 hours per week. There is also a $50,000 rake race that is covered by all of our Ongame rooms and with your volume I would see you doing very well.

Let me know what you think, follow the link above for details on how to sign up.

Hey RDKNAUF91,

PLO is relatively new to most players, most of the play at PLO10 is quite bad and you can find some very soft tables on most of the networks that we provide.

Lots of sites don't offer micro stakes Omaha games, however 888 does and gets good traffic. 888 is a network that has benefited from lots of good marketing meaning that lots of fish deposit and lose every day there.

If you sign up via PokerStrategy you are eligible for a $888 first deposit bonus.

Check the following link for the sign up details and go crush!

Hey,

Many of the games on PokerStars are very reg invested, especially on the small stakes tables. I think for somebody trying to move through the ranks of online poker, being able to beat each limit with a good win rate is reall important and think for sure that you should get windows running!

I think Party could be a good option for you, you get good volume and the players are definitely worse than at PokerStars.

There is an initial bonus of $500 that will be easily achieveable by 12 tabling the small stakes, also when you first deposit remember to take advantage of this promo where you can get a little boost to your bankroll.

Thanks
Patrick

Hey matel17,

I think for micro sngs, rakeback isn't incredibly important, it is great to see you have highlighted the two most important things though.

Traffic - I don't think anywhere beats PokerStars to be honest, they have 2 man, 4 man, 8 man, 18 man, and even unlimited man MTT's rather than the majority of the other networks who only have the normal HU SNG. Also I know from my past (unsuccessfully trying to sit in the same $1 HU SNG as a friend) there are dozens of games starting every minute at every day, whilst at other sites sometimes you struggle to find a game meaning that your hourly is massively effected.

Competition - Honestly, I think most of the competition at HU SNG's is very soft. As long as you read and learn you should be able to beat all of the regs who are generally poor whilst sailing past the fish. If you grind some more next month you will be able to watch Collin Moshman's tips on how to play HU SNG's that will hopefully move you out of the micro's.

One thing you didn't mention is the rake. The rake at Stars HU SNG's is lower than some other sites meaning that you ROI will be automatically higher playing an identical opponent on a different site.

Although in general, I advice players to play on sites such as 888 and Party I believe that you should play on Stars until you get out of the micros. Once you do come back to this thread and I will be happy to advise you about your options for mid stakes SNG's.

Do you already have a Stars account?

Thanks
Patrick

Hey Patrick thanks for your reply! I do have a pokerstars account but I've somehow become untracked so I don't play there. Atm it's important for me to be tracked to access the material and hand evaluations.

For the sake of loyalty schemes, which room would be good to start at the micros and stay for the mid-stakes? thanks again
