Leaking all over the table [2011 Round-up and new focus]

well i´ve moved up to NL10 and i´ve got enough of a cushion not to have to go back down to NL5 (hopefully), so here´s my graph for NL5.

ran below ev a bit, but its no big deal.
quite happy that non-showdown winnings are not negative. not sure if i should be making winnings there or not, but i was playing a lot of tables most of the time so i guess it´s understandable.

LEAKS TO WORK ON:
- don´t check the "fold" button when its not my turn so that a new table pops
up and i fold on a different table.
- don´t blindly press fold. take time. don´t double click...
- don´t look how much i´m up/down in a session. (damn HEM icon in taskbar makes it so easy)
- remember to load up new tables when i leave some because of big stack
- mark more hands. not just ones i lose.
- regularly post hands in eval. forum
- look at stats before stealing from bu and sb

just had a terrible session. i need to stop playing such long sessions. another leak...
1 hour max then at least 10min break!!!
just kept running into sets or people hitting their draws. pretty tilting. people shouldnt even be trying to set mine vs my short stack yet it seems to keep happening.
guess i should be happy since i will be winning money off them in the long run ???

at least i got another 4k hands worth of vpps. trying to get 5k more vpps before the end of year to get another $50 stellar reward.

NOVEMBER REVIEW

well my nov graph for nl5 is already up. rather than having an overall graph i´ll just put up my nl10 graph.

allin ev is the bottom red line. so running quite a bit over EV.

my non-showdown winnings are very negative though. unlike it was with nl5.

dunno what it is about nl10 but i always seem to lose. no idea what it is. i can´t even blame lack of stats since the graph gets worse the more i hands i played/got on people.

goals i had for november:

- reach gold status on here (so i can watch videos) just about managed on the last day
- reach silver on P*s done
- no target for # of hands just whatever i can do. done
- post hands in eval. forum after each session posted a couple times
- start taking shots at NL10 played only nl10 towards end of month

new goals for december:
- reach 5k VPPs to release $50 reward. (and goldstar on P*s)
- that means on avg. ~2.2k hands a day. (probably more since its only calculated with estimates)
- move up to NL10 full time(back at NL5 atm to get back confidence)
- review play and manage +ve win rate
- (maybe take some shots at nl25. but probably not.)

5 days in to december and i´ve only had 1 session.
i´m not going to try and clear the last stellar reward after all now.
the reason i´ve been losing is that i was playing far too many tables and i´d rather be a winning player and play less hands than lose and only win through "rakeback"
just went from 18 tables on NL5 straight to 18 tables of NL10 and that just doesnt work.
going to start on 6 tables and slowly add more as i see fit.
already played a couple 100 hands and it´s been going a lot better.
been a bit lucky with flips but that can quickly change.

just bought HEM2 since it was pretty cheap to upgrade and i´ll be messing around with that for a while to figure out how it all works. looks quite good already though.

new goals for december are now just:
- stick to NL10 (unless i go on a Massive downswing)
- stick to 6 tables to begin with
- play +ev poker

what happened since last post:
tried to play BSS instead of MSS. lost loads at NL10 moved to NL5 and lost more. playing just 4-6 tables. nothing seemed to work.
was going to get a coaching session but dont have a mic so coach said better wait till i have one so probably wont get a coaching until after christmas.

so last few days tried to go back to mss. my goal is to reach the last $50 stellar now but i probably wont manage.
need to play ~3200 hands a day but with christmas/new year that´ll be tough.

won a few BIs at NL5, so had enough for NL10 again. went good for a while
then had my worst day in a while today. this seems to happen everytime i move up to NL10.... i have a few good days with positive winnings. then BAM. lose it all and more back in one bad day.......
at the lowest point i was down $60 for the day and ended up on -$41. =10 stacks
i really need some kind of stop loss. and to stop looking at the table manager which tells me how much im up/down.
didnt run that far below ev either, although there were a bunch of coolers. (people calling >1/2 their stack pre with trash then hitting sets/2p....) bunch of KK<AK KK<QQ AA<kk aipf.
only reason i wasnt down more was 2 stupid/tilty calls i made.

2011 Round-up
Start of year i was playing $6 9man turbos on ftp. Was just about to move up to$12 when ftp shut down.
Moved to stars and tried out all sorts of games. (sng cash, mtsngs.., plo)

I´m not going to post graphs since they are all terrible (almost embarrassing) just a general roundup.

Cashgames: 160k hands. evenly between Nl5 and Nl10. result: -$360
SNGs: 1400. mostly 9man, hu, some 6,18,45mans. av.BI $3.1 result: +$100
with fdb and "rakeback" im still on ~$200

What did I learn?
I suck at cashgames. tried both BSS and MSS and lost in about equal amount at both. over all the sites i´ve played i must be ~-10bb/100 over 300k hands. Only site i beat cash-games at was 888.

I´m not amazing at SNGs either. Did ok at 9man turbos, but lost loads at Hyper turbos. especially since they only had $7 ones to begin with. (under-rolled)

My biggest leak has probably been playing too many tables and putting volume before learning. Going to try to turn that around in 2012, by sticking to 1 table and doing more reviewing/learning.

Looking at all the different graphs, the one game i seem to have been winning at was HUSNGs (when i was 1tabling) so i´m going to try and play those for a while.

What happened in real-life: - finished uni. still working shitty part-time job. turned 24.
