Hi. I think UTG views me as loose player in general, squeeze happy (my stats for last 20k hand 27/25/3b 9).
His stats are: 27/21/ fold to 3b 58, fold to cbet 62, fold to cbet turn 0 (8), WTSD 25, WWSF 46, AF 2.72. 2.5k hands.
Note:
PF:c 3b OOP vs btn (me) T9s, lead TP 3 (way w fish)

SB is a whale.

$0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

UTG: $57.13 (114.3 bb)
MP: $44.07 (88.1 bb)
CO: $89.21 (178.4 bb)
BTN: $87.13 (174.3 bb)
SB: $62.08 (124.2 bb)
Hero (BB): $63.54 (127.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J J
UTG raises to $1.50, 3 folds, SB calls $1.25, Hero raises to $6, UTG calls $4.50, SB folds

Flop: ($13.50) 7 6 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $6.75, UTG calls $6.75

Turn: ($27) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $13.50, UTG calls $13.50

River: ($54) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $37.29 and is all-in, UTG calls $30.88

Results: $115.76 pot ($3.00 rake)
Final Board: 7 6 4 Q 7

I obviously overplayed my hand. I guess he is almost never calling river with worse hand. But still not sure what line is the best - x/c turn, x/f rvr? b turn, x/f rvr? He might call turn with 88-TT but I think he never would bet river with this hand, but could be suspicious and call turn so maybe b/f turn, x/f river?

Hi,

not really sure I even like turn bet, since he would very likely fold now his 88-TT hands, so I´d prefer c/c turn and river to let him barrel his floats.
If he checks back turn I´d valuebet river

If you bet turn I think river shove would be better option than c/f, since I don´t be sure he would bet himself worse for value, but he might easily call you down medium pp

best regards,

If you check turn and he bets significant amount, what would you do? If you call whats your plan on the river?

Hi,

I would c/c turn and decide on the river if I want to call him down. he can´t be there too many hands that he can bet two streets for value, so I think I have to sometimes make thin calldowns against good players.

best regards,
