Thanks Mark and everyone

Confirmed with 888 poker Customer Support.

No way to track my PS account if downloaded directly from the poker room

Cheers

Very unlucky! What do you want to do now? Do you want to switch to an other room? It would be easy to get silver status withn 9 dayy of playing tracked. :)

I am planning to move to Party Poker, after clearing my 888 first deposit bonus next month. I have heard that PP has a lot of traffic and loose/casual players as well.

If you have another good option I obviously consider it too :)
I am playing MSS NL10

Hola p0kerdragon1,

I've sent you a new CS ticket regarding Party's first deposit bonus and offers, you may click here to access your ticket.

If you have any questions just drop me a ticket and I'll be happy to help.

Best of luck at the tables. :)

Hi guys, seems like a right topic to ask this:

Which of the following rooms besides PokerStars doesn’t allow changing tracking to pokerstrategy if you haven’t downloaded from here?

• Party Poker
• Bwin
• Titan poker
• Mansion poker

Cause I’ve registered on them like 3-4 years ago, directly on their sites and I’m not gonna put money on them if I can’t be tracked here.

BTW, nice community, learned a lot, a lot more learning to do and keep up the good work.

Hey RovarTry,

Sorry to disappoint you but re-tracking is not allowed.

All the best
Carl

Wow, thanks for the quick replay…

I was afraid of that and I’m a little disappointed, cause I was really aiming for PokerStars.

I was looking at 888 as my back up so I guess grinding there it is. I’ll be on a look out for bonuses on other rooms, that I’m not registered yet, as well and hope that this thing works out somehow eventually.

From what i've seen 888 is a lot softer than pokerstars anyway so it might work out better for you :)

you should check out the link that Matt posted about finding the right poker room for you though well worth the time.

Let me know if i can help you with any thing else

Carl

such a stupid system of tracking these points.

i'm not going to switch to another poker client and since i already made a PS/FT account before i signed up here this forum will become useless once i'm done with basic/bronze articles.

to be honest we would loooove to have everyone tracked to PokerStrategy.com but for the poker room that means they will need to pay this site some fee for being able to recruit new players for them. understandably, they don't want to pay this if we can't prove that you signed up with them through the encouragement of this site. :(

if you are curious, you can review the business model here and see how everything works :)

Also we have more than just articles on offer too, there are videos, live coachings and hand evaluation forums from professionals that start at the basic/bronze levels.

and the time may come when you fancy a change of poker room or want a first deposit bonus to clear then you can sign up with our codes and unlock even more content.

On top of all that its a great place to meet new friends with similar goals to yourself and you can help each other progress with your poker game, this is probably THE most essential part of your learning progress imo.

Good luck

Carl
