is cold 4betting here overplaying JJ too much? esp with the 3bettor midstacked? just seemed like an obv resteal spot for SB, but i didnt want to flat with BU to act behind.
i realise i would have to call if SB shoved.

Preflop: Hero is BB with J♠ J♣
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.30, SB raises to $0.95, Hero raises to $2.10, 2 folds

Spoiler

Results: $2.20 pot
Hero mucked J♠ J♣ and won $2.20 ($1.25 net)

Hello dannywratten,

Well, what do you think what's more overplayed. 4betting and maybe at the best getting called from better hands or AK? Most likely your 4bet is strong enough already for them to decide only to continue with KK+ or flat it or maybe even fold depending on the opponent?

Best Regards.

Ok, are u saying you prefer flatting here Even though BU is left to act? I suppose hes only 5 betting better hands and never bluffing after i cold call right? :)

He is not going to continue with worse hands here most likely anyways. So I am not a huge fan of 4bet/broke here with just JJ. Therefore, yes I might even make either crying fold if he has not so high 3bet or if he has high 3bet than flat.
