Hey guys, I'm now a volunteer hand judge for the HUSNG forums. Please drop by and post some hands and I'll do my best to evaluate them!
In terms of my month so far, I've been running better than January. Played about 500 games, up ~$3k not including rb/bonuses/other goodies. Currently #1 on Everest total profit leaderboard as of this post - hopefully I can keep that up.
I was also challenged to a HU4rollz too....I think I'm going to take it but I haven't quite decided. Deal is 500 games at $50s and whoever comes out on top gets an additional $2k on top of winnings. I'm pretty sure I have an edge on him too, but I might get someone else to review games vs him to make sure I really do have a solid edge.
I also think there's no chance he'll see this blog because his english is pretty poor and I'm fairly sure he doesn't visit these forums, so I'm not too worried about posting it here lol.

From tonight's Jets game. Pretty sure this is the NHL's save of the year. I can watch this save all day long - this guy is basically the reason the Jets are in a playoff race right now.
Pokerwise, nothing too special goin on. I'm up something like $5k on the month. Not sure if the above mentioned HU4ROLLZ is goin down - the guy is now avoiding me everytime he's online, and when he talks to me on MSN its like this crazy admiration for my profits and my game which is really weird. It kinda coincides with me having a good month on Everest and passing him on the sharkscope leaderboard -which means maybe I shouldn't have taken so long to accept the challenge? lol might have missed an opportunity there. I'll keep you guys posted if anything changes.
My volume is also half of what it usually is compared to other months, but I've had a ton of school assignments to do so that probably has something to do with it. Also lots of curling on TV this month which is super distracting. For those that don't know, I used to curl pretty competitively but I've stepped back a bit from the game in the last two years. The competitive curling community is pretty tight-knit so I've definitely met a lot of the people that have been on TV lately and know some of them a bit more personally -particularly anyone from Manitoba.
After the last year I played competitive I felt kinda burnt out from the game....we played about 150 games in three different provinces that year. Last year I didn't really miss the game that much, but this year I'm really missing it. I'm starting to call some former teammates up and trying to put something together, but nothing concrete yet. Hopefully it all works out well.

ALMOST started a topic trending nationally in Canada on twitter yesterday. Watching the scotties (Canadian women's curling championship) and Alberta skip seemed to forget her mic was on a few times. It's funny to hear "shitballs" being said on national tv. So I sent out a tweet suggesting we should get #shitballs trending, got retweeted by some well-known accounts and even managed to get some media accounts pushing the #shitballs topic which was unexpected and hilarious. Didn't quite manage to get it trending nationally, but there were a lot of Canadians tweeting #shitballs yesterday including players actually at the event.
