Yep idea is to generate more fold equity by disguising own stack size. So it would be best used versus multitabling opponents who might more easily not notice stack depths.

But using this might also make BB play wider range versus SB when BB do notice what he tries to achieve as you have done here.

I dont like it against the regs, coz you need to balance it. So u have to be min raising even the AA and why the *** would I like to maximize my FE there? So only if u r playing with him often, he adjusts properly and u r doing it every time it might be ok, but I still hate it...

balancing on the $3 level is a waste of time. Most of Regs don't pay attention to spots like that. For a need to balance to emerge, he would have to think most Regs on the limit spend 1-2hrs a day reviewing hands and taking notes on opponents. Can they really expect that to happen on a level like this?

Well I disagree. No matter the limit, it doesnt take a genious to see that my opponent is min raising bvb with around 5bbs with the trash and shoving every value hand...:) It is just one or two notes, no need to review anything. And again, why the *** would you like to take chips uncontested with AA in this spot?

I stand by what I said first, almost no-one pays attention to patterns like these, how would they anyway if people that DO take notes on the $3s are mostly semi-bad 9-tablers?

you would want to take chips uncontested the zillion other times where you don't hold a strong hand

Well, if SB is indeed a good player, I would also agree that he tried to disguise his desperate steal attempt, as it could be for value. The problem is that he should have raised 2.5x, because min-raise looks very weak, so it most likely will fail anyways.

Misclick here also could be the case.

Some players do that when they have a strong hand and tried to look like a steal, maybe they play to play stop and go, but with KQ is this easy call.
