Hope and the challenge.

What do you mean by saying hope?
You have to hope for something and it means that the thing, which are you hoping for, is motivating you

Well yes. I hope for a better life by making a living out of poker.
you gotta love the game ♦
that's what should keep you going!
if you have to force yourself to play and claim it's just for the money then I feel bad for you, the only reason i play over doing something else is that I get to do something Im passionate about and that's cooooool.
The love of the game, and being able to enjoy yourself whilst making cash, can't beat that ♦
The Dream, Playing Poker for a living.
Its alot more realistic than most peoples dreams, right?
First of all, I've moved this thread to General Poker Discussion, I feel it's deserving of the full attention and input of our lovely community.
As for my personal answer, Love of the game mate! Love the game, love the challenges it poses, and the money doesn't hurt when you're doing well.

I have been playing this game for 6 years now, on and off and never had a good run. I have been watching vids, reaading strategy, gone over my game, and still I can't win.
But when you see my All-In EV i'm not suprised...
But I still come back to the game, time after time, cause this is what I love to do, and what I want to do for the rest of my life...
I play to pass the time and I do occasionally enjoy the small thrills of winning a some money. Other than that, being a pro isn't on my future career list.
