I just posted this to prove that every so often it IS possible.
The fact is, in this particular tournament, I had earlier cracked AA on somebody else, so it was just my turn in the luckbox.
In this hand, I only called the shove because I figured he was 3Bet shoving light, assuming I would fold, because if I fold I can easily outlast the short stack.
Usually he would be right -- and I had done so several times as I moved up.
