Soooo since I live in germany this site was not available for a couple of years for me. and also I actually didn't really play much. but now I'm back and I did already give out my refferral link to a friend. but I seem to not be finding a search button or something for adding new friends. I already have a few in my list but I don't remember how I added them. can somebody please tell me how it's done?

yeah, I know. but when I just have his name and he never wrote in the forum? or he did, but I don't find his posts? Is there nothing like a search box?
You simply type in the url adress that --> www.pokerstrategy.com/user/TheNameOfYourFriend/profile/
Then click on add button.(Obviously change TheNameOfYourFriend by the Username on Pokerstrategy of your buddy)

Doing a simple online search using your friends name + pokerstrategy should usually work too.

It may be because you have added friends in the past direct from the German community. If your friend is posting on the German forum, then you won't be able to see his profile or posts as the German community runs on a separate server to the English one.
If he posts in the English forum, then you will be able to add him, but you still wouldn't see his posts from the German boards unless you visited the German boards.
If he has signed up through your referral link, then you may be able to see him under your T-a-F referrals.

And that thing with the german forum...? I'm confused now... I mean... I'm german and living in germany. And I wasn't able to reach the site for a really long time. Now it's available again. But if I click on your link to the German boards, it's showing me a message that the site is not available in my country. How can I reach the english version when from germany but the german one is not available for me? Then who is it available to? Apparently not germans! Really confusing for me. And also I got a popup message when visiting your link that I have a second starting money promotion going for me. When I click the popup it shows me just again the message that the site is not available. Can you maybe explain to me why it's like that? @Lazza61

I'm from Germany as well, and I know what you're talking about. Right now, I can access the German forum just fine, but there have been several times in the past where I got the same message as you.
I'm not entirely sure what's going on either, but I believe it's because the legality of online poker is somewhat questionable in some states, so it may depend on where exactly in Germany you're located. For me, it's working sometimes, and sometimes not. Really not sure why.
So maybe you could simply try again later, and see if you still can't access it? It could take a few days, of course. Which state are you from?
