Hey pokerski,
It's hard to say. Given the status of the EU it is nearly impossible to say what's safe and what's not. Your probably better off asking why this turmoil continues on a financial forum rather than a poker forum though 
As for is one more popular than the other, I think personal preference is a major factor. They're both very similar.
