[Closed] bad beats

why is that a bad beat?

I think he played well. He hat top pair, then the pair of deuces on the board - nice for him - kills all two-pair.

Why u bet the river? I think c/f would be better.

you would FOLD a full house ??
And what he did wrong:
Either he believes he is in front or behind he should fold/cap the turn. same thing flop. he has virtually no kicker at all - i showed preflop-strength so he should think that he is against a better ace.
The ace on the river finaly is a bluff-inviter - i would no and NEVER fold against a bet there with a finished full house - and remember that the pot is already 13 BB big ...

[edit] oh and it is a bad beat in my eyes because he needed both exactly the turn and the river card (okay, the turn could've been a seven as well ... that is more unlikely than a runner runner flush and that you would've been accepted as a bad beat wouldnt you? [/edit]

Tough beat. Haven�t played limit for a while. But I guess, check / call river would be better. Will he really call here with worse hands a lot?

Folding the river is definitely not an options here.

And its clearly bad play by button. He is almost always way behind on the turn. The deuce doesn�t change anything here. Hero has to have a better ace, better two pair, or already a full house there. Anything but folding the turn is a big mistake by button, drawing slim (possibly only to a split) or drawing dead already.
