I'm in London for an internship and I work way to much, so I haven't had the time to meet new people (outside the office). But now during the weekend I want to go out to have a drink and have some social interaction.
So does anyone have any good suggestion for a club/pub where you can go to meet new people ( no insane loud music or a cardclub for the elderly 
I'm staying near paddington station (central London), so anything nearby would be great.

There are plenty of good pubs where you live, I think I must have been to most of them. There's a few casinos too, Victoria on Edgware road for example.
Meeting new people in pubs is difficult tho, be careful who u trust. Better to knock about with your work mates at first.

Work mates are like twice my age ^^ so I don't mind working with them, but going out for a drink isn't on my to do list. atleast not with them
I'll just go out for a walk tonight and see if I pass some good looking places
I dont know any good clubs nearby, I usually just stay at home 
The pub in Praed streets with the benches outside seems to be busy and I saw quite a lot of foreigners there during the world cup.
I think Kensington has better pubs/clubs than Paddington in general
In Paddington I found Sussex Arms quite nice, then again that was the first pub I stumbled into. Other than that, I agree that Kensington has a lot more to offer.
