Once you're a metalhead, metal fan ... it is for life.

st. anger was a poor album though. cant really say which one is my favourite, maybe ride the lightning.
Hey I'm an old school metal fan... late 70's - early 90's!
Favourite bands: Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Mercyful Fate, Metallica, Slayer, etc.
Don't know a whole lot of newer bands, but a few that I really like: Opeth and Mastodon!

I know some plp like this. Were rly metal and then they just sort of sold out... lame.

3 nights at hammersmith odeon
donnington monsters of rock
100 club in oxford street
and hamburg, germany
then didnt see them again till march this year
Speaking of gigs, nothing can top seeing Ac/Dc in March in Prague this year.
Motorhead was a runner up, but didnt top it.
Ac/dc has the best and liveliest shows ever !!!

lol go Symphony X, Michael Romeo is insane. John Petrucci from Dream Theater is pretty awesome, they came to Adelaide a couple of weeks ago.
