A lot of huge talents lately : Bolt, Phelps, Bekele, ... I really have my doubts that we'll see that many supertalents in one time period anytime soon again

I think we will, sport is becoming more and more popular it seems, and there are more resources available to create those supertalents, also the technology is still getting better and better.

if rifle shooting and archery are in the olympics, poker should be in it too.....

mmh, at that level, every sport has a large degree of luck. if there was no luck involved there wouldn't be bookies.

If wind blows at time you shoot it can screw your shot and its 10 m target thats like D=43 cm so anything can fuck you up ♦
Other sports have also luck involved like football has luck involved otherwise ppl would bet always at favorite team and win lots of money

lots of luck involved in cycling events especially long distance races, not only crashes but splits in the field need to play into your hands. eg if a group breaks away while you happen to be stuck in the middle of the pack your chances of catching them arent great

a lot of sports are more of a gamble than poker.
