Anyone else suffering with the current stormy weather? I'm in Oxford and although the wind is only gusting to about 45/50mph (not bad compared to Northern England / Scotland) I already have a £500 repair bill, and I can't even make the repairs until the wind dies down.

I've got friend in Sheffield who said it's making her depressed. No repair bills so far, though.

Had a lorry blown over on the Thelwall Viaduct yesterday closing the M6. Today winds very strong too...
If I get blown away I'll try and make vids on my Android but pretty difficult imo 
It's been brutal over here in Ireland too, but it seems to have finally abated in the last hour or so.
So hopefully that travels over to the UK 
North Yorks, near Scarborough. Probably things were at their worst late yesterday/last night. Almost calm here this evening now. No repair bills but the wife fell while trying to climb into the loft yesterday & injured her collar bone!!.... Don't think it was down to the wind though.
Been very blowy in South Wales. I had to send the missus up on the roof in the end, the tv aeriel was all over the place! Of course, I waited 'til it stopped raining, I'm not heartless! ♦
