FINAL RESULTS IN BAKU:

FREE PRACTICE 3

QUALIFYING

Note - Vettel and Rosberg drop five grid places as penalty for unscheduled gearbox changes. Palmer, Haryanto and Nasr penalised three grid places for failing to slow sufficiently under yellow flags in Q3.

Note - Sauber's Marcus Ericsson did not participate following crash in FP3, thus races at stewards' discretion, having failed to set a time within the Q1 107% requirement, and subject to FIA medical clearance. Vettel penalised five grid places for an unscheduled gearbox change.

FULL RESULTS FROM THE UK GRAND PRIX

NOTE: Nico Rosberg was 2nd over the line but was penalised 10 seconds post race for receiving illegal radio assistance, thus relegating him to 3rd.

The next round is the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest on July 24th.

It’s again a fantastic result of Verstappen. It would be even better if he could end up 3th in the ranking at the end of the season.

It looks like the different between the top 6 and the rest is decent, but still see if it will be that predictable.

NOTE: Carlos Sainz Jr has been penalised 3 grid places for impeding Felipe Massa in Q2.
Romain Grosjean has been penalised 5 grid places for an unscheduled gearbox change.
Nico Hulkenberg has been penalised 1 grid place for a technical breach regarding the tyres he used in Qualifying.

The final results from the German Grand Prix at Hockenheimring.

Was the improved performance of the Red Bulls due to improved car performance or were they just more suited to the track than the Ferrari's?

F1 now breaks for the the duration of the Olympics with the next race in four weeks in Belgium at Spa.

An interesting question I think, but I think the Red Bull drivers are also better on the moment than de Ferrari drivers. Hopefully we get a less predictable race over 4 weeks, but it looks like it’s now very easy to predict the top 6 without choosing them in the right order.

You can't change a car much in one week so I guess this track suited the Bulls better and the tempatures were a bit lower which is also better for them.

That sounds fair enough. Hopefully we get some more excitement in the next race.
So that it will be less predictable.
