Definitely and I would still pick Germany as the favourites, together with France, to win the tournament. Friendly games never tells the complete truth, but then again, it is notable that they have lost 4 out of their last 6 games

Definitely. 50 bucks is maybe enough to keep one lady interested in you at the bar for one night. Winning the bragging rights and the title of POKERSTRATEGY'S FOOTBALL PREDICTION WIZARD would without doubt make you a wanted man with all the honnies for the next 4 years

18 hours till kick off of the EUROs. Hype

So! The BIG day is finally here! Today, the Euro 2016 competition starts with the hosts France, playing Romania. This should be a good start for France who have a squad talented enough to go on and win the whole thing....... Only time will tell if the pressure of expectation is too much for them.

Good luck to all of the teams playing and I hope we have a championship that will give us games that we can talk about for a long time to come.

Also good luck to all members in the euro predictions game set up by PokerStrategy. A great competition.

Yeah finally it starts for sure will be fun to see how France will handle this pressure , as allways i hope for some surprises ( Sweden to win) but mostly i hope it will be alof of great football..

Pretty decent opening match. Respect for Romania who didnt parked the bus as many believed they would have done. They put up a great fight, making it enjoyable to watch Still think it was a deserved 2-1 win for the hosts. France had a lot of players under preforming, but Payet played a superb match, making himself a matchwinner for France

SO what you guy thinks of Euro 2016 so far,, who was bad, who was good, some surprices? what teams will make it to next round?

So far I don’t see 1 team that played to much better than the rest and I think Hungary is so far the surprise of the tournament and Portugal didn’t played well so far. Especially Ronaldo isn’t playing well with missing a crucial penalty yesterday.

So far I havnt been impressed by any of the favourite teams in the tournament, but definitely teams like Hungary and Albania who got their first EURO points in their history have surprised. Italy have played really solid if you ask me and right now I could see them go very far in the tournament.
Personally I think Portugal have played some of the most enjoyable football so far, well organised and creating a lot of opportunities, but sadly for them they have failed in front of goal, not taking advantages of their opportunities so far.

By the way; for you guys who didn't like the official EURO song, maybe you like Will Griggs?

this is what it should be about :f_drink::f_biggrin: Fun, Party , For me so far Germany, Spain and Italy looks great, positive surprise Wales and Hungary (but dont think they played so great football) negative i will remember , Russia and England Fans and Croatia,,, which is to sad since i think Croatia played great so far..

Nothing strange happened, but nice victory of them against Spain.

Yeah and now we will get a BIG game with Italy - Spain in round 16

Hopefully Italy are more worried about Spain so that Ireland can sneak a victory and into the last 16.....
