ya this definatly could be cool
jbp:i really dont think fairness will be a problem b/c these are massivly MTTs and the probabil;ity of even being on the same table as a teammate is soo slim.

I agree, but it's not what we think that matters. I wouldn't want to see someone ship a big MTT and then get their account frozen. Best check out the rules first I think.

Regarding your idea for MTT teams, I can inform you that it is a commonconcept in tournament poker to construct teams of players to play in anevent with the goal of competing against other teams to compose collectivescores. However, your email was vague in regard to the type of team and the impacton each member's play. Obviously, as the seating assignment is random, youcan never guarantee who you will be seated with at any time, and as such,you may need to act against the interests of your team if you are seatedwith a team-mate. It is fine to pool all team cashes to re-distribute equally, and to comparescores with other teams, however, all members must act independently at ALLtimes. This means that if you are seated with a team-mate, you cannot avoidconfrontations, nor play softer, nor balance chip stacks or any other playwhich is not in your own personal interests, even if you knock your ownteam-mate out. As mentioned previously, such behaviour is monitored and deemed asCollusion, i.e. a violation of the PokerStars Terms of Service. Thank you for your understanding and for choosing PokerStars. only way of doing this fairly is doing it with people u are familiar with and know they are decent, in other words, knowing everyone has a similar chance of winnin maneys.

maybe it would be better to make the teams but dont split profits right away. do some sweat sessions, hands discussions, etc at first and then everyone can decide what to do. its kinda obvious, but the op isnt very clear on the subject
